Excellent pub, great location and great atmosphere! Would highly recommend

Considering the Covid times, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and made the pub feel as close to a normal pub environment as possible. Very pleased.

It was a monday evening visit. Food quality is good and has not changed since the lockdown , which confirms as our local- go to place for dinner again.

Great food, was very quiet but didn't really matter to us. Will go back again for brunch

It was great to get back in a pub and see some friends and it wasn't overly busy, crowded or in any way unsafe.

The service was unbelievably fast & friendly & the food was something to die for! & as for the dessert! left me tummy full time for bed :-) would recommend to everyone! Nick

during these covid times the pub is a lot less busy than normal which mean that the whole experience was very pleasant. our server Yannik was a real delight. we had a delightful time

We regularly use this pub for a post walk pub for food/drink but yesterday's visit the food was quite disappointing. The roasts are usually delicious but something had changed, the roasties were soggy and not to their usual standard and the meat was fatty (the dog however was very happy about that as he got a bit of it!) :-) it was a real shame as we had really looked forward to our lunch there. The atmosphere was good and the guy who served us was friendly and very helpful.

It was a typical pub, a little chilly, my burger wasn't fantastic, dry and overcooked, but the chips were nice as was the chorizo scotch egg

Great roast, huge portions and served really quick. Once we ate our plates We’re never cleared which was a bit annoying and we struggled to get someone’s attention to get the bill.

Tasty food, good atmosphere and a 50% off the food menu which made it all the more enjoyable!

Great food; portions are crazy. The Red wine is divine. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Food was below average . Beef burger was dry and the Seabass dish was cold-Luke warm . The fish and chips was soggy . The waitress was lovely but the barman was rude. We spent £112 for four people and this was overpriced for the quality of the food . Lovely pub but I would never eat here again .

The service and the food was great but I did feel a bit rushed we were told at the start about the 2 hour slot then reminded several times during the meal .

All good, the area by TV cacophonous perhaps eating should be confined to dining area for conversation unless area specifically requested?

Nice meal (scotch egg and roast beef) but sticky date pudding was so tough I couldn’t get my spoon into it and so decided not to eat. At £6 I’d expect it to be edible

Always love it here. We were slow and a few of our party were late but the staff were patient with us. Very good food too! Big portions! Good prosecco!

Roast dinner was lovely,veggie version my partner had beef. Portions massive as usual!Despite pub being VERY busy-service was quick,staff lovely!

We went during the restaurant’s 50% off Monday-Friday in January and the food, service and value for money was excellent. A local gem!

Went after watching a matinee at Theatre503. Party of six - including 2 children - service was efficient, polite but not irritatingly over-friendly. Food came quickly, and so did bill when asked for. Decent range of choice, for vegetarians and vegans as well so pretty good on that score. Noisy but it was early New Years Eve so understandable. Reasonable experience all round.

Disappointed with the food. Pork not very nice not much taste Potatoes hard. Yorkshire pudding very greasy at the bottom. Definitely not worth the money. The last time I visited the latchmere the food was excellent. It seems to have gone down a lot. However the serving staff were very accommodating
