Different, tasteful and enjoyable. Felt like I was in a restaurant on holiday!
We had been strongly recommended The Mad Hunter by our daughter and her family, and were not disappointed. The menu was both varied and unusual, and though we were moderately conservative (not going for kangaroo or zebra) we were very pleased with the choices we made.
Lovely food,very different tastes and flavours but delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back

The food was delicious ( we had the fish dish of the day and the vegetarian wild mushroom dish). However, we were allocated a table at the furthest corner of the restaurant and we had to wait a long time for being served. Once the waitress came to our table for ordering, we told her that we didn't even receive the menu card. This means we waited almost 20 minutes to get the food menu. The food came quite quickly but once we were asked for any deserts, we had to wait another 15 minutes to get the menu so instead we ordered the bill. As our waitress didn't come back for more than 10 minutes with the bill, we asked another member of staff and received two bills at the end. It's a shame about the waiting and the staff since the restaurant has really good reviews and we were really looking forward for a nice evening.

We really enjoyed our meal at The Mad Hunter last night. Delicious food, good selection of wines ( though we would’ve liked to have seen a wine from the Stellenbosh region on the wine list / more South African wine choices) and great service We will definately return.Thankyou
