Great food, amazing service, and a cosy atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable evening. The menu and drink selection offers something for everyone, but it is the ambience of The Mayflower that makes the experience.
We had a lovely Sunday roast today with delicious beer. We booked online...a good job we did as the pub was very busy. The service and food were excellent. Will definitely go there again.
Great, honest pub grub. Well cooked and tasty. We had one special - which was good, as always - and one from the normal menu and we'd happily eat them again.
Great fish and chips on Friday for just 10£ (2 persons) ! Recommended!
Excellent meal in lovely venue - easy walking distance from Rotherhithe station.
Excellent food and excellent atmosphere. Definately plan on going back
A great location with splendid views. The food was very nice pub food and the highlight was the exceptionally good service. The staff were so friendly. They made us feel very welcome and completely at home. Will definitely return.
The restaurant serve a great variety of delicious food, the mussel starter, lamb shank and crumble were all fantastic choices. Accompanied with superb beer and service.
Excellent food very good service. Music too loud for me
A great pub with a wonderful atmosphere and feeling of history. The food is enjoyable - particularly the daily meat pie selections. I certainly would go back.
Very crowded the night we got there. We arrived a few minutes early and stood at the bar until a table was available. We were led to the comfortable upstairs room with a view of the river. Waitress was good, food was average, beer was excellent.
Lovely atmosphere in the pub, efficient service and delicious food.
Great table overlooking the Thames. Fantastic food and great service at a very reasonable price.
Lovely old pub on the river with a great atmosphere good wines and selection of well cared for ales, a great selection of foods cooked and served better than most pubs. A must attend if your in London
lovely food as always in a very cute place. the service was phenomenal too
We rate this historic pub right beside the river in Rotherhithe as our favourite local. Food and atmosphere excellent, service also excellent, and prices not too high.
The food was excellent, the ambience, even on a quiet midweek lunchtime, was fine. Service was detatched but not unfriendly. The wine, by the glass, was redicoulously expensive for a Chardonnay from a supermarket, incurring a bill alone, of 60 pounds. Total bill for two persons was 99 pounds! Over the the top for a 'Pub Lunch'.
Best Sunday roast around, good wine and beers relaxed atmosphere. Just what's needed for a sunday with friends or family.
Food was fabulous as useual, was there for valentine's day and I have to day the atmosphere in the restaurant floor was great!
