Great food, amazing service, and a cosy atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable evening. The menu and drink selection offers something for everyone, but it is the ambience of The Mayflower that makes the experience.

We had a lovely Sunday roast today with delicious beer. We booked online...a good job we did as the pub was very busy. The service and food were excellent. Will definitely go there again.

Great, honest pub grub. Well cooked and tasty. We had one special - which was good, as always - and one from the normal menu and we'd happily eat them again.

A great pub with a wonderful atmosphere and feeling of history. The food is enjoyable - particularly the daily meat pie selections. I certainly would go back.

Very crowded the night we got there. We arrived a few minutes early and stood at the bar until a table was available. We were led to the comfortable upstairs room with a view of the river. Waitress was good, food was average, beer was excellent.

We rate this historic pub right beside the river in Rotherhithe as our favourite local. Food and atmosphere excellent, service also excellent, and prices not too high.

The food was excellent, the ambience, even on a quiet midweek lunchtime, was fine. Service was detatched but not unfriendly. The wine, by the glass, was redicoulously expensive for a Chardonnay from a supermarket, incurring a bill alone, of 60 pounds. Total bill for two persons was 99 pounds! Over the the top for a 'Pub Lunch'.
