The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly.

We come here for special occasions every once in a while this time was our second wedding anniversary. Saved up a bit of money to come and enjoy a lovely steak and three course meal food outstanding as usual. Definitely be back

I’m very sad because the food was the best ever but service not good such a shame . I eat out lots I like the restaurant and wanted to book my Christmas Eve table tonight.

Great steak but let down by the lukewarm scallops that were missing certain ingredients as advertised on the menu. Staff were friendly although not very attentive. Had to get up and ask for extra drinks after waiting some time and had to ask again for the table to be cleared. Won’t rush back.

Very disappointed with the food, had very little flavour and very very salty, poor selection of larger and wine list not good.

Straight to a choice of tables - nice. The Primitivo previously on the wine list has now gone - not so nice. Food arrived on a plank which meant bits fell off as there was no lip - not nice. Coffee served in a plastic mug - weird.

Exemplary roast lunch, good cooking, generous portions, good value, welcoming.

First off: food and service were good-at least 4 stars. Negatives: too expensive compared to equal or better restaurants in ilkley; atmosphere was subdued; the owner or major domo (I think) struggled to appear genuinely hospitable. We left the restaurant feeling pretty sorry for the business.

Ordered the steak night deal which was for two. Waiter told us he would do something so 3 people could enjoy the deal. Paid normal restaurant price for third meal. Would have expected £25 for third steak and sauce, £50 for other two, including a bottle of wine, but no, £25.95 + £2.95 for sauce, for third person, but only one bottle of wine between three still. No flexibility there.!!!

Food was incredible, our waitress was incredibly friendly, polite and engaging - Burger was HUGE!!! They even boxed up my dessert, lovely place! Highly recommended!

Chose here for Sunday lunch with my partner and friends... great food, service and atmosphere... we will be back .

We took our friends along for Sunday lunch and although we enjoyed it I did feel the meat (sirloin beef) wasn’t as good or plentiful as on previous occasions. Still enjoyed the trimmings though.

From start to finish a great time. The starter was excellent pulled pork scotch egg. The main course was a perfect steak for 2 people to share our host Georgia was brilliant and full of knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend it .

Food was lovely and the steak offer with a bottle of wine is well worth it.
