Once again booked a Sunday lunch and as usual wonderful meal. Can't fault the quality and quantity. Busy day but no delays in service. Will be back.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. We had three starters and four mains, the quality of Food was very good. Would definitely go back and have no hesitation in recommending.

Always great to have Sunday lunch here. Tried the braised beef which was wonderful. Vegetables are cooked to perfection and great selection. Puds were fab.

I wanted my steak cooked without oil.....and they catered for my “fussy” eating needs beautifully! Steaks and sides were amazing. Lovely staff and the service was spot on. Thankyou

This was our second visit to the moody cow in Ilkley and again it was fantastic the staff are so polite and attentive nothing is too much trouble the food was cooked to perfection everything tasted amazing but I have to mention the Mac and cheese side which we got to share and I ate almost all of it I just couldn't stop it was gorgeous this has definitely become one of my favourite places to eat.

Excellant friendly service. Food was delicious and piping hot. Plenty of choice on the menu for starters and mains, unfortunately was so full could not manage a dessert but am sure they would have been just as nice. Lovely evening

The service was very poor. Waited the whole sitting for our tap water. Glasses arrived half way through. One member of staff was very good but on the whole , a very disappointing experience Food was average and our bill was expensive.

Warm welcome from staff on arrival and during our visit food was amazing Very relaxing atmosphere we finished our meals and was left to finish our drinks and was asked if we would like more... not pushing to clear the table and asking us if we would like the bill very impressed with our experience would definitely recommend.

Food was well cooked and tasty. Menu is limited. Ambience could have been better with softer lighting. Quite expensive for what it is, but we had an enjoyable evening.

Excellent service and food.This restuarant is 100% better than the Apperley bridge Moody cow. I was in a party of 16 with 4 children and the staff could not do enough to accommodate our needs.

Great restaurant and the steaks were amazing. The portions are huge and the flavours are excellent. I would highly recommend eating here if you like steak.

Lovely food. Great service. Would go again. If restaurant not busy please use the bigger tables rather than the small cramped table for two. Just a suggestion

Came for my girlfriend’s birthday and she was given a free glass of prosecco which was a nice touch. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Good quality steaks and the service was very friendly and efficient, an interesting wine list offered a good range of white and red wine, the overall ambience was what we expected

Service, ambience and food excellent - as has always been my experience. In fact, if any criticism could be forthcoming I would say the portions are a tad too large so that one course if enough, which is a shame when the choice in all courses is so good.

The main course portions here are big but the starters are too nice to miss so learning from experience we shared a starter. Braised brisket, sirloin steak beef short ribs and haddock Marsala all resulted in empty plates and 4 satisfied diners. If you like meat you will love this place and the staff are really friendly. We still had space for desserts and we just about managed to finish them, sharing again.

We love The Moody Cow the food and service is always fantastic and friendly. We were celebrating my daughters Birthday so they brought her out a free pudding with a candle in!!

Steak was absolutely top quality and was cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

The food here is very good-they know how to cook a steak. The service is attentive and pleasant. I have already booked to return in the near future.

The food was great and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening. We all had starters and a main course. I did want the beef short rib but it had sold out but the waitress recommended the pork ribs any they where lovely. The meat just fell off the bone.

Great food and service except we had to remind them to bring our wine over. The steak night offer is really good value but a bigger choice of side dishes would be better.

Great food at a very reasonable price, polite and extremely helpful staff The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, busy but not too loud and overall an excellent evening out.

I always bring all my friends and family here when they visit. Top tip, if you want Sunday lunch book before 3ish, even tho my family couldn’t have a roast they dreamed of they really enjoyed their burgers!

The prawn starter was delectable. I had beef stroganoff which was great, prawns tho, awesome. Good selection of wines and lovely atmosphere. Service, very polite, inclusive and cheerful. Didn’t like being called ‘guys’ all the time!! Good job!

Had a great night at the moody cow ilkley on Saturday the food and staff were first class would recommend it to anyone and will be back in future

The food was excellent but the service was slow. They managed to forget our sweets, however they did reflect this by not charging for them in the bill. Would try again and hope for better !!

Amazing food, fantastic service. Highly recommend. We ordered the £29 steak deal and can not rate it high enough. The waiter was extremely attentive too. Brilliant evening. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely food at the moody cow. The ultimate nachos as a starter are fantastic but are definitely better shared between 2/3 otherwise you'll have no room for your main course!

Delicious food, warm welcome, great evening all round. Good priced selection of wines. We all had starters and mains and felt the bill was reasonable.

Lovely food and great service, efficient and friendly. It would have been a full house if the puddings were home made, a bit of a disappointment at the end of a great meal. It could improve with a rail at the front or a ramp for disabled guests
