Food was excellent. The server did an amazing job trying to take care of so many tables at one time. As we were finishing a table of 18 were seated - all men and it overwhelmed the staff and ambience. First time I have eaten there and the food exceeded my expectations.

The restaurant was very busy and quite loud. Food took awhile to be delivered, leading to long waits between courses. On more than one course I received a poorly cleaned plate and silverware. The food was good, but I’m not sure I would go back.

I am a fairly regular diner and I did not enjoy the new menu choice for lunch today. Many of the starters included salad which one of the party can not take. I took the chicken and the green beans were very undercooked.

All was excellent. Just sorry we were there at the time of a noisy party! It was tricky then to hear my friends across the table. Apart from that it was a lovely visit and we will be there again soon.

A lovely old building, beautifully done out. A smashing menu choce, and the food choices we made were all excellently prepared and presented. Service was excellent, friendly and very quick. There was a real buzz about the place.

One of my favourite restaurants in Inverness. Food and table service is always first class. Never fails in anyway. That's why you need to book in advance to save disappointment.

Zowel voor als hoofdgerecht waren echt aan de zoute kant. (En ik kook zelf redelijk zout, dus ik heb daar niet snel commentaar op). Mijn partners hoofdgerecht was wel perfect op smaak en die was heerlijk. Verder super gezellige sfeer en hele vriendelijke bediening!

Food was well prepared and nicely plated. The the table was too small for the size of the plates, the atmosphere/environment was unpleasant, not at all relaxing, the staff tried their best and were over worked and the noise level was abominable. Even though the food was good, it is unlikely I will return or recommend this restaurant.

Venison great, rib eye tough. Waitress gruff. Had 4 dining experiences in edinburgh and this was least favorite and most expensive.

My husband had been given a voucher for a birthday present so when in Inverness for hospital appointment today we used the voucher for a lunch. All the food was lovely, great taste and presentation and the service was excellent. We will definitely visit again.
