Lovely restaurant, food was delicious and very reasonably priced, waiting staff were very efficient and friendly. Would definitely go back if visiting Inverness again.

We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service from the minute we arrived was outstanding. Absolutely amazing meal cooked to perfection. Our favourite restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful starter very tasty main was not what I expected seabass was a little overcooked and didn’t like sweetcorn in risotto! Always like the mustard seed but on this occasion was let down by food and very abrupt waitress who was rude to my sister who regularly visits this restaurant when here from London.

Nice place but bad acoustics. Service is superb and food was okayish. Ordered medium rare steak, turned out medium to well done and was definitely not a nice cut for 30 quid. I left it as it was becoz I wanted to finish my meal quickly and leave the noise

I’ve eaten at the Mustard Seed multiple times and it’s always amazing. Great food, wonderful service and perfect location. Their seafood is divine. Dessert, yes please!! Make a booking as walk in seating is hard to come by.

We had lunch at Mustard Seed. The food was lovely though the vegetarian selection was limited. The service was casual, rushed and a bit overbearing at times. Perhaps it was because the restaurant was busy but we did feel that our plates were slapped down in front of us. We've been to Mustard Seed many times before and this hasn't been an issue in the past.

We had an amazing meal with top class service. The food was so tasty and arrived quickly, it got quite loud with the raucous laughter from a big table just along from us but they were all having a good time which is why they were there. We weren't shown the specials board and on seeing it as we left there were meals on it that we probably would have chosen over what we ordered but what we did have was still really good.

Unfortunately I asked for a medium rare steak which came well done. They had no problem at all in changing it but unfortunately the second one came and was just about medium. Almost cooked fully through but with a touch of pink. This to them was medium rare. I wasn’t going to go again. The manager took it off the bill and gave us a further discount which was appreciated however I would have preferred the meat to have been cooked the way I had asked. Medium is pink but medium rare is red in the middle and pink Everywhere else. It did spoil the evening for us. The special scallop starter however was delicious.

We had to wait as our table wasn’t ready but we were compensated with complimentary glasses of wine., The meal was excellent. The food was of good quality and well cooked especially the hake. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately there was so much noise due to being busy that it was difficult to hear.. This made conversation difficult which was a main reason for dining out., It was so loud that I would seriously have to consider whether or not to eat here again. That would be a pity!

we went for the early evening menu just to give it a try as neither of us had ever been and the food was amazing and definitely exceeded expectations!

Our waiter was great. The duck was a bit overcooked. Sadly not much for NA drinks aside from sodas.
