Great restaurant. I highly recommend the 28 day aged ribeye steak — very flavorful!

I won a voucher for the restaurant so that’s why we visited BUT after the top quality food & service we’ll definitely be back there again.. great choice of food, excellent service from the waitress’s & waiter’s .. 10/10

Food - yum! ... a taste explosion in the mouth! ... lip smackingly-good for both of us! The food has always been very good here, especially the fish in our recent experiences and today was no exception! Gosh, the hake on risotto was to die for - a fantastic job - and one day I'll have to venture into some of the other items on the menu! Service perfect - promptness perfect - exceptionally good value for money, and what more can one ask for! The place is an asset to Inverness ... and thanks, folks - look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks' time (and for today's meal - brilliant/thank you!)

Had a super meal, staff attentive and very friendly....a great time, and look forward to next visit. The noise level was pretty high, but.....it's a busy restaurant, so expected. Main problem due to my hearing aids, not the clientele!!!! I love MS!

Second time that we come to The Mustard Seed and enjoy it a lot. The food is excellent, nice cocktail list and wine list too. A full 3 courses and a cocktail for £60 for two, 👌🏻 We will come back again.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Such a wonderful atmosphere, superb food to die for within pleasant surroundings. Staff truly knew their business and boy did they deliver. A must to return. This is our ‘go-to’ place when in Inverness.

Food good except the Cranachan which was mostly cream, not honey or oats. Raspberries were not enough. Disappointing dessert.

Starter was amazing. Main was a disappointment compared to other visits. My chicken was very dry but still very tasty, my hubby’s mash was very salty and he’s the type that adds salt to almost everything so something being too salty for him is a tall order. Restaurant was very stuffy, I had to leave while my hubby was still eating as I felt like I was going to faint. Despite asking for more water at our table it took asking 3 times before we got more. Very disappointed as usually our favourite restaurant in Inverness

My husband enjoyed his meal I didn’t my sea bass ok but bowl of sweet corn put me off my meal starter wasn’t great !!!! Sweet menu not great choice !!!!cheese cake was not good either mostly cheese taste !!! Won’t be back

Table was ready, staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Food as always good, full of flavours, good portions, hot. Restaurant clean and welcoming. Ladies room very good, considering it is a busy restaurant.

Slightly disappointed this visit. Food wise the steaks we ordered were not very good, we did ask for them to be well done as we always have them this way, but these came to us looking very dry and lacked flavour. Not a lot of choice for pudding so my party all took Chocolate Brownie which again was very dry and not at all moist. Disappointing sweet menu. The Service however was very good and staff were very welcoming.

Great food,as usual, & very competitively priced. Very efficient and friendly staff, always on hand to assist with any queries. A particularly lovely touch was that there was a birthday celebration in our party & the staff acknowledge this by playing celebration music over the tannoy and presenting him with a small edible gift. It was really appreciated. We have been to the Mustard seed many times & hope to do so again in the future.

The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the shrimp and pasta.

It was amazing food… the team looking after us were amazing, really accommodating (I was feeling a bit chilly)… and they even brought us a little surprise as it was a birthday celebration… really sweet and nice from them. Can’t find anything that could be better really… thanks

Brilliant as ever! It is the best local restaurant by far.

Food was cold, we were sat at a table in line with an open door, wind blowing through towards us.

Lovely eating area, attentive staff - bit too attentive at times, I only need to tell one person the meal is fine, once . Wines delicious food very good, we’d definitely go again. The diners behind us chose the steak at £3.95 supplement and couldn’t eat it, which was a surprise

The menu had lots of choices to suit all palates or dietary preferences. The restaurant was full and everyone was happy eating. The food was delicious what we all ordered. The wine was lovely… gin choices were fantastic or if you wanted a cocktail or 2. One of us had a cheese cake which was devoured without any leftovers. Myself my husband have been here several times and we brought along friends visiting from England and the loved the food and the ambiance of the restaurant.
