Lovely restaurant with lots of character. Couldn’t fault the food or service

Really lovely staff team. Warm greeting and explained why we had a little wait for our table - table of 30 just departed so a quick reorganisation of tables. Delicious food delivered quick quickly and most attentive service. Lovely the interior design and a really good atmosphere with people from all over the world enjoying themselves. Thank you to all who made this a really good night. X

We booked online not knowing what kind of food to expect. Everything from our drinks to our starters and main course were exceptional. Atmosphere was delightful. Overall a 10 out of 10.

Reservation had been canceled. I emailed and it was put back on. Glitch? Servers work as a team. Everyone helps so you don’ t have a relationship with just one server but very efficient.

Terrific food, service and atmosphere. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, and I found plenty to eat as a pescatarian.

The wine was old and we had to replace it with another, the wrong dishes were presented (we swapped them) and there was a tour group next to us that was too loud. Food was good and the server who subbed for the waiter was good so we rated it okay.

The food is so delicious and beautiful. A really good choice for a restaurant.

We went for a celebration dinner our friends from Edinburgh were up to stay. From the moment we arrived the service and friendliness if every was great. I had organised prosecco for arrival and it was there in an ice bucket waiting for us. Food as always delicious and varied choice. It was served in good time and we had a lovely waitress who made the evening special for us . Smiles all round Thanks you

Had a fantastic lunch, sat out on the balcony as the weather was glorious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and we think we have found our new favourite restaurant to eat!! Thank you to all the team at The Mustard Seed.

Great food and service. Looking out at the scenery by the river was wonderful.

We were not impressed with the food. Had 4 different orders and one dessert. The steak was over cooked, 2 dishes were tasteless and one was ok. The dessert was a chocolate, salted caramel tart. It tasted like it had freezer burn. On a positive note the waitstaff and host were pleasant and attentive.

As always lovely food, good service and lovely albeit busy environment. Always go back.

We had a lovely experience, food was delicious and the staff worked very hard to serve us on a busy night. We couldn’t fault this restaurant and would recommend it but make sure you book a table beforehand.

An amazing experience. The food was phenomenal! We enjoyed not being rushed through our meal. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Would highly recommend and would come back!

Delightful place for super early evening meal in riverside location

Chicken was unfortunately dry.I was expecting medium to rare venison.It was well done and tough. Cheesecake had a minimal base.

The food was delicious and the prices were fair. Would recommend!

We felt a bit ignored. Had to ask for our drinks three times and they arrived after we had finished our starter. A bit disappointed since we were looking forward to this restaurant. But we cant give more than 3/5 for service and food

Sitting next to a large, noisy group wasn't that great. Had to speak up to hear each other.

As usual - great service, amazing food at a great price

Had an 8:30 pm reservation…walked in and was greeted immediately and the two of us were taken to a nice table by the window. The mussels were really, really good, and we ordered the monkfish dinner was delicious. Both the Chardonnay by the glass and Italian Red by the glass were very nice. After a long flight from Texas , it was nice to enjoy a nice meal in Inverness.

Service was fast and efficient. Food was of a good quality and priced very reasonably.

This was the best Sunday Roast as a 2-course Lunch Menu since ages. Perfect value. super friendly service and a food quality on highest level plus Malbec, red wine in ideal temperature served. All in all an experience to get regularly repeated!

Very welcoming member of staff. Our fellow diners were already in. Waiter was efficient but no banter. I informed her of my chilli allergy and she returned to inform me that the kedgeree had chilli in it. I was offered an alternative. Didn't have to wait long. Broccoli was undercooked and really hard. The potatoes accompanying the 2 steaks were overpowered with garlic. However everything else was very good. Thank you.

Fantastic meal yet again, good way to end a week away

Entree and starter were very good and well presented in a very nice setting. Disappointed by the "Mango pannacotta," which was plain vanilla pannacotta with Mango juice sauce. Our server was very attentive, but other staff seemed a bit brusque and business-like rather than relaxed and friendly. We were puzzled when we received our first course before the cocktail.
