Starter delicious … main OK (just) … dessert delicious … let down by poor service to be honest

Un peu déçus . Bière en canette , dessert plutôt industriel et peu savoureux , pâte à tarte molle et glace insipide, les légumes cités sur la carte n'étaient pas tous dans l'assiette. Lieu bruyant , un peu usine , mais les serveuses étaient malgré tout très réactives et à l'écoute. Bon point sur le service donc mais pour le reste , nous sommes restés sur notre faim .

Obviously a very popular restaurant and staff appeared to be 'flat out' the entire time we were there. No sooner had a table become free and it was cleaned, reset and immediately filled with waiting guests. Our meal was enjoyable but not as exceptional as I anticipated with the popularity.

Appreciate the ease of making the reservation in the United States before we left for Inverness. The food was delicious. The service was good. The ambiance and sound level was nice. The only issue was my husband was in direct sunlight. The window had no shade to block the sun.

We were a tinsy bit disappointed this visit .. the experience felt a little muddled and less exacting than our previous occasions last November. The food was delicious but really needed more green vegetables and could have been a hotter temperature .. maybe it was because we ate later than we would prefer but time choice had been limited when booking and maybe service was coming to a close .. we didn’t ask for it to be redone / warmer. Maybe more colour added to your dishes and when your new front of house manager has settled into his role things will return to your usual standard.

This was a lovely spot by the river with great views! The food was very average and service a bit slow. This would we a great place for cocktails and views!

Table for 6, we had a great meal , nice environment, the salmon was outstanding as was the chicken and the mussels. Love the look of the restaurant. Service was a bit slow with a large table of 18 next to us

the lemon sole looked and tasted more like cod. Server was also slow and also didn't want to be there.

Our server barely paid any attention to us despite providing more attention to those around us. Several other employees had to stop by our table to assist. Maybe she was too busy. We had to ask for bread. Overall food was good but service was not as expected. If it weren't for the hostess and the other servers I don't think we would have received any service.

Always lives up to our expectation, a pleasure from entering to exiting. A real city vib!

Fantastic lunch with friends, beautiful restaurant and great atmosphere. I had a steak, it was good but a little tough for my liking although it was porterhouse which is not the best cut of steak you can get, the staff were awesome
