We really enjoyed our visit to the Mustard Seed - the food was delicious and the service was excellent!

My only suggestion would be that the waitor doesnt say " there's much better wines are you sure you want that one" when we chose the house red. I know how job is partly to make the restaurant money but if the house is that poor dont stock it. Every other part of visit wqs outstanding but that wasnt the best start

Back at mustard seed while visiting Inverness on holiday after a few years and it was just as good as before, seated upstairs with beautiful views out window at the river on a sunny July evening was a bonus not that it isn't smart inside anyway, nice options on the menu and specials to, we went for the early evening menu starters and main course, decent value and myself and my wife were happy with our choices, our daughter was chuffed her crispy chicken strips came with skinny fries, our savigion blanc wine was very nice indeed and came recommend by the waitress, all staff were great as was service, we love this place and it is always going to be on our visit list whenever we make the trip here from Aberdeen. Went to The Mustard Seed for lunch on my wife's birthday. Lovely setting, nice atmosphere. We were attended to promptly. Good lunch menu, and very well priced. Food was great, and service was excellent. Would recommend to others, and would definitely return. Thank you so much.

Restaurant with a lovely busy atmosphere. Lovely setting by the river and modern clean decor. Families, couples and groups of young people all mixing. Varied menu. I had the lamb rump which was cooked perfectly and a pulled pork spring roll starter. Portions were huge especially the starter. Partner had venison and a mixed platter to start. Said both were delicious. Not a cheap restaurant but it was a quality meal. Would visit again and would recommend.

The food was amazing, the staff very friendly, restaurant very clean, bathroom spotless, seen staff cleaning after every customer, cocktails amazing tried a good few 😋 kids had a great time aswell.

We arrived earlier than our reservation but wasn’t a problem, warm welcome and taken to our table straight away. we ordered off the early evening menu which is excellent value for money. I ordered beetroot carpaccio with whipped goats cheese, rocket and walnuts, amazing! Followed by vegetarian stir fry with noodles, really tasty dish. My boyfriend had Moroccan houmous with bread again a really tasty dish and followed by a large shepherds pie topped with a cheesy mash and spiced cabbage, he loved it! Very pleased to order a Loch Ness gin and tonic, we’d been to visit the shop this afternoon The mustard seed is a must, great food and atmosphere, thank you 😊

I felt very comfortable with the setting and the covid hygiene steps taken. There was a good variety of food on offer, it was tasty and the portion sizes were good.

We really enjoyed our meal at The Mustard seed as soon as we walked in we could see it was a lovely atmosphere with a real buzz. We went for a sharing platter to start with which had generous portions of smoked salmon and jamon amongst other things in addition to lovely orzo which had little veg chunks through it. Our mains were venison and e rib eye steak which were really tasty. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Excellent choice of either early evening or from dinner menu and all 4 of us loved what we selected from our chosen menus. Service, food, drinks were fabulous and all at a reasonable price too. Never fails to impress every trip to Inverness, look forward to our next visit!
