Arrived on time for 1pm reservation. Shown straight to table. Orders for drinks and food very quickly. Lunch menu very good and all six of us were happy with choice and very happy with starters and main courses. Staff very attentive , friendly and efficient. Will return soon.

Excellent food but I never got my starter; may have been down to being so busy and mishearing the order though. Great buzz in the place, drinks were absolutely spot on and again, food was to a high standard and really full of flavour. Presentation brilliant. Seating could’ve been better as one of us were left looking into the stairway instead of the beautiful setting. Would 100% recommend.

Quieter night in the restaurant, but getting busier as I left. Had monkfish, pancetta and prawn fricasse. Pancetta a bit too salty for my liking. Noticed new staff tonight, learning as they go, missed the familiar staff

From the friendly welcome and the lovely and attentive waiting staff, to the absolutely beautiful food….we cannot recommend this place any more!!! We had such a lovely first night in Inverness and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Would love to come back!

The MS is our go to place for special occasions- Atmosphere is that bit special, service prompt and friendly and food tasty. Good range of desserts, beers and gin. Steaks good but not best in town. Not too pricey.

Very accommodating staff. I’d requested a window table in error and they happily moved things around to put us by window overlooking river. Set early evening menu was good quality and very good value. Whitebait - fresh and crunchy and pie very meaty. Good choice of local bottled beer and excellent wine list. All in all great meals!!!

Our first visit to the restaurant and more than met our expectations. The food was prepared and presented to a high standard and beautifully cooked. The restaurant was extremely busy but this did not impact on the service and our food orders which reflects the professionalism of the staff and management. Service was excellent and whilst attentive never felt intrusive. As the restaurant was very busy reflecting a Friday evening the background customer noise level a little high but reduced as the evening progressed . We will definitely visit the restaurant again when in the area and highly recommend it .
