Excellent in every respect - great food, drinks, atmosphere, staff, service and value. Really interesting and varied modern British menu, all beautifully prepared and served.

Didn't get wine with main meal so disappointed in staff levels not being able to match volume and speed seems to be the focus rather than quality service!

Restaurant was going like a fair, but service was quick, staff were great and food was cracking! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Inverness.

Service quite slow and poor, took ages to be served a drink, felt as though they were short staffed ( especially compared to our previous visit the month before). Food and atmosphere excellent as always.

a first return visit since lockdown. we had friends visiting who all enjoyed their evening. Somehow the noise level has improved! Or I had the best seat!! Quite a problem to solve with the high vaulted ceiling, bare stone work and metal chimneys A credit to Inverness!!

Restaurant was buzzing and very busy but the space catered well for the various groups . Service was excellent , good choices of food - both in daily specials and a la carte. Good wine list with decent house wines by the glass. They also do a special for early dining. . Food was very tasty and cooked well.

We had a truly amazing meal. Staff were attentive throughout and worked really hard as the restaurant was full to capacity.

The quality of the food was exceptional and great value for money. We had a window table upstairs and this really made lunch special for us and our friend.

Arrived on time to a very busy restaurant & immediately taken to our table. Excellent service & food arriving in a timely manner. Only issue was an extremely loud table of 10 people close by but the waiter apologised for that (which he didn’t have to so we thought ‘a nice touch ‘). Will definitely have a meal there the next time we are in Inverness. Superb!

Had a lovely lunch with a friend. Great food, good service, but rather noisy in the restaurant. This could have been due to the position of our table-upstairs at the open side of the balcony.

We eat alot at the Mustard Seed. Today was fully booked and buzzing. Great staff, exceptional food and service was fast, even though it was really busy. We love the Mustard Seed.

The food was amazing. I had the special of Fillet of Beef. It just melted in the mouth.

The exemplary three course meal we had with our friends was accompanied with the finest of champagne and wine in the most relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff were amazing and really were so kind as we were there nearly 3 hours and never gave the slightest indication of wanting us to leave despite the fact they’d long since stopped serving food. We can’t wait to return to the Mustard Seed and will urge others to go there whenever they’re in Inverness. If the Mustard Seed don’t get an award for their food and service then it’s a crying shame as they so deserve one.

👍👍👍 Great food for the early evening 5 to 6.30, two course dinner.

The food was good, the service was terrible. Waited forever for water and our cocktails, and then waited a long time for our food. It seemed like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Won't be back.

Al of the staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The venue was vibrant and although very busy service was efficient without making you feel rushed. There was a good choice of dishes. The food was delicious, well presented and fairly priced. I would recommend this restaurant. We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary and the Mustard Seed didn't disappoint.

Lovely meal and the service was amazing. Will be back soon.

A fabulous meal and fantastic staff. We’ve been to The Mustard Seed several times over the past 10 years and it never ever disappoints!

It was my first time as a local having dinner in the mustard seed. The services from start to finish was fantastic and the food was absolutely unbelievable. Will certainly be back again!
