Excellent food . Friendly staff. Very clean nice atmosphere. Recommend the restaurant to everyone. Service was a bit slow due to only two staff on duty but food worth waiting for.

Excellent food, as always. The best Chinese retaurant in Dorking, by a long way. Good, efficient service. I recommend the sizzling fillet steak, if you’re a meat eater.

There were 6 of us for dinner last night and we all had a thoroughly great time. The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. We will be back!

Saturday lunch birthday celebration for my mother . Food we had was lovely but atmosphere lacking. We were not offered the desert menu or coffee. The only member of staff clearly wanted to go home as we were the last table.

Fabulous Chinese food here, best in Dorking and helpful staff.

They were Apologetic re chewy dry duck, which we did not have to pay for, but would rather pay and have better cooked duck. - disappointing

We were ignored for over 15 minutes after we were seated at our table, we chose a set menu for ease, the starter was overdone and burnt the next course duck and pancakes didn't come but they brought bowls for the main course , we complained and the duck was rushed through and it was only warm and underdone, we had drunk our bottle of wine whilst continuously waiting for action, they brought another to us on the house but the food was awful, so was the atmosphere and our wedding anniversary ruined. simply don't go there !

the food was good and the service friendly but we sat in bright light and would have preferred more subdued lighting, the area where we sat was a little cold too.

Really really slow service! We waited for about 1 hour and 20 minutes before getting any food! It was Saturday night and very busy but they clearly couldn't cope!

Very good food, ambience and service but one irritation as the receptionist put our friends at the far end of the restaurant and put us on another table at the front and we sat there for 15 minutes before we found each other despite both giving the same name, after that it all looked up.

A really lovely restaurant. Food is always good here. My friend had the prawns in ginger and spring onion, which she tells me were absolutely gorgeous. I love their satay beef. We will be back.

The service was excellent. The food as always was too. However the restaurant is very cold. I also feel the steps on the dark carpet need to be highlited as its quite dark and they are very hard to see.

Having been to the Fountain Garden several times there is always a very warm welcome by the friendly staff. Food served promptly. Food good alround especially crispy duck. Pretty exterior, traditional interior.

Lovely atmosphere here, very friendly staff and really tasty food but no MSG, we felt it was good value for money and will definitely be returning.

Excellent food with NO MSG! No dehydration from too much salt. Very child friendly too. 4 of us ate for under £80 including a bottle of wine! Great value in Surrey!

Good service and very enjoyable meal and the complementary orange was a lovely touch at the end. We will be visiting again soon. Ambience could be a little better though.

It was ok but the food when it came wasn't very hot. The starters were very nice though and well cooked. However I won't be rushing back to the restaurant.

Service was a little slow and staff seemed a little confused as to what they were meant to be doing. Not all items came out at the same time. We asked for a jug of water for the table and only one of our party was given a glass and poured water from the jug which was taken away? Asking for a gin and tonic and a rum and coke was difficult as they didn't understand what we were trying to say. But, they we're friendly and courteous and always smiling. Food was good.

BRILLIANT AS USUAL. REALLY GOOD FOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF. LOVE IT CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK. THE MENU IS VARIED AND ANY FOOD ALLERGIES ARE DEALT WITH PROMPTLY AND WITH CONSIDERATION.

Great service and the staff answered all questions about the menu well. The food looked and tasted great. Definitely home made using fresh ingredients. We weren't rushed between courses and fantastic meal 😀

Staff very attentive with a warm welcomb on arrival. Food outstanding, but Kung po chicken more preferred in a light batter . Our fault as we failed to ask about that. All in all a lovely evening. Thank you.

We are regular long term visitors to this wonderful venue. Consistently the food is clean, fresh and delicious, exactly as they promise. Add to that exemplary service and hospitality you have an experience I highly recommend.

NoMSG used in any of the cooking. Fresh ingredients and nice cosy atmosphere. Three dishes and a bottle of white wine came to £40. A lovely complementary orange to cleanse the palate.

We arrived at 7.00 as booked reservation system worked ok. The four of us enjoyed our meal hopefully wont now get plaiged with emails by this reservation system or will block it

We love all kinds of cuisine and, in our opinion, The New Fountain Garden is up there with the best for top-quality Chinese food at reasonable prices. We've dined there many times and have never had a poor experience. Staff are friendly, efficient and attentive - without being 'in your face' - and we readily recommend this restaurant to all. Enjoy! Excellent food and large portions. We had a squeaky table but the restaurant was happy to move us to a silent one which was better as it was by the window overlooking the garden.
