Booked this for Mother's Day lunch as it was in close proximity to ZSL London Soo. Great food, Risotto in particular was delicious!! Highly recommended

We made reservations for Sunday so we could assure ourselves of a table for the Sunday Roast ,,when we arrived there was no table reserved for us and the bartender had no idea what we were talking about , fortunately the place was not busy and we were shown to a table for 4.The bartender told us that there was no roast beef left but assured us that there was plenty of chicken available ,we ordered drinks and our companions ordered a cheese tray of appetizers first ,when we went to order our roast chicken (about 30 minutes) later we were told that there was non left ,,If he had told us they were going to run out we would have ordered the chicken ahead of time ,and the staff knew we were going to order the chicken in the first place as I said the only reason we went there was for the Sunday Roast. His attitude was that he could not care less, we all ordered the Bangers and mash which was very good (the only good thing about the evening)!!! I will not be back, your head bartender the one with the blue hair had a bad attitude and used the minimum amount of service that he could.

Relaxed and welcoming lunch, good food and portion size. Staff were great. They were very accommodating for 3 families together with babies and children ranging in ages up to 4. There are some resident dogs, in case you're not a dog person. My only improvement would be that they sort out the tipping for when paying by credit card, it seemed to get very complex with instructions from the staff on what to do with the machine which took some shine off the end of an otherwise great visit.

Great roast dinner, good atmosphere, fab music - would definitely recommend going to this friendly local pub especially after a walk round regents park or primrose hill. Also dog friendly.

Great food, ideal place for family Sunday roast with an attractive kids menu and a live jazz band. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service.

- The staff were useless. I rang three times to confirm my booking and each time they struggled to find it. - When I turned up I sat at the bar for 30 mins waiting for the rest of my group, no one once asked if I was ok or wanted a drink. - The massive table near the sofa was a mess and the staff were just standing around at the bar doing nothing. - When I walked up to the other side of the bar to let them know I was there, there was three of them standing there talking to each other, one was eating crisps and they completely ignored me. - They had allocated me a huge table because there was supposed to be 6 people coming but we only ended up with three, when I asked to move to a smaller table the girl was like 'what's wrong with that one?' I was like we don't need such a big table for the three of us. She finally agreed to move us to a smaller one. We went and sat on the sofa while we waited for her to setup the new table. We waited half an hr and she still didn't come over to tell us it was ready. We eventually went to her and it was ready the whole time. - The food was nice but overall the service was really bad.

Lovely pub, lovely people, great breakfast, and 2 sweet dogs. Would like to take Sunday lunch here in the summer as they have some seating outside & of course the food sounds good too.

food was diabolical, took ages to come then was served a raw hamburger + beef which had a green colour + overcooked slushy veg, yuk!

Great cosy pub. Although the live jazz band they had on over Sunday lunch was a little to loud for the small space, it was good music either way. Gin and Fizzy (the owners dogs that roam around) were the highlight for me!

Really lovely food here, and good location. it was quiet as we went on a thursday lunch time but i imagine it gets very busy. I had the pizza which was delicious. one of my friends had bangers and mash and i was surprised this didn't come with any vegetables. just the bangers and mash. but that would be my only complaint.

There was a nice atmosphere in the pub and it was not too crowded. Music was a good volume though perhaps a little loud and the food was home-cooked and good.

Great food - especially the amazing burger menu - and in a lovely location. Friendly atmosphere and not too crowded on a Friday night. I'd definitely go back here.

Simple decor in an welcoming way. Friendly staff. Great food. We had Fish and chips and the Thai curry. The fish batter had spices in it which gave it a really interesting flavour and it was very very crispy. Curry was flavoursome but not too hot. Well priced for the area.

We didn't stay long or eat there. The restaurant was quite empty but people were sitting outside. The crowd seemed quite rowdy and a few were quite drunk at 8pm and didn't want to stay . The menu had completely changed and my friend is vegan so there were hardly any options for her with the new menu . The staff were pleasant and friendly enough though and tried to get us to stay. (Can't rate the food or quality correctly as didn't eat there.)
