The New Sagor

Situated right on Lees Road, Sagor is a reliable go-to Indian eatery for anybody living in or passing through Oldham, and after many years in the business these guys have mastered the subtleties of proper Indian and Bangladeshi dining, from balancing spices to serving sizzling tandoori dishes. Sagor is open for dinner until late every night of the week, so whenever you’re hankering for some pakora, chicken shashlik, lamb balti or vegetarian biryani you can call in for a comforting feed, or you could try something a bit different like Sagor’s balti exotica masala (featuring three kinds of meat, prawns, egg and a hot and spicy sauce) or a traditional Afghan curry. There is plenty of space at Sagor, so it’s a great, affordable venue if you’re planning any group event or special occasion.
