Booked in advance which is probably best way to guarantee a table this August. Staff were attentive and the food was very good. No holding back on the portions during the government offer so well worth the money.

The food and service at The Old Crown were excellent as always. Portions are always large, hot and very tasty. The pub offers excellent value for money which is even better during the "Eat Out for £10" offer.

4 of us visited the place for lunch on a Sunday. The food was delicious and the service was lovely as well. We are not local, but if we need a place to eat in Coventry again, we will definitely go back!

It's my first time at this pub, it was recommend to me by my friend for their carvery. Me and my partner both had the carvery, the carvery was spot on can't fault anything, the social distancing was excellent and the place was so nice & cosy. The staff are very friendly I will be returning back.

the menu was quiet good a little bit pricey for the portions we got, used to get a really huge portion but now portion sizes were not very good £9.95 for a small fish and chips and it was small, chips were lovely and asked for onion rings. did not like the way they were priced on the menu. we asked if they were £3 for a portion, the waiter was not sure but underneath some of the items on the menu was either a 2 or a 3 to find out when the bill arrived that meant the onion rings were £3, we had 2 portions so £6 was a lot of money we thought very misleading they should put the £ digit on the menu and not just the numbers. I do appreciate that the businesses do need to make money after the lockdown of all pubs and restaurants the reasons we always go to the Old Crown is for value for money. Thought small portions which were very nice but not worth the price.

Food was amazing all home cooked and was delicious. Waitress was lovely nothing was too much trouble. The tables were spaced out we felt very safe. There was hand sanitizer to use as you went in and another further into the bar/restaurant. I would recommend dining here and we will definitely be going back.
