Squid ink pasta and pasta for the mushroom meal was very poor, as if it had been cooked, cooled and warmed in a microwave. Sweet from the specials was poor, the pastry was as hard as a rock, inedible, coffe was good.

Good -nice food, fresh pasta, nice beer, good service - will return

The authentic menu and offering is great - the food was delicious. There is a certain element of simplicity about the restaurant that is also appealing. However, in terms of how I would say to improve, I think the restaurant could do with re-decoration just to give it a bit more life and zeal. Where I was sat I was facing towards the kitchen and the lighting was pretty bright which kind of spoilt the conventional 'atmosphere' that you get when you go to a restaurant in the evening. When I say re-decorate, I don't mean completely transform, just some subtle changes to make the restaurant more visually appealing and 'warm'.

I have been previously and the food was amazing, however this time the food was average; it was not hot enough (like it had been standing for a while before serving) and the portion was more like a starter not £13.00 - overall very disappointing and I wont be returning....
