We had a terrific time when we visited on a very quiet, slightly damp, Tuesday evening in October. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Fabulous.

Excellent food & service. Off the beaten track in terms of menu but all the better for it. Great example of a business sourcing locally for food & drinks and providing a much more interesting selection, a real gem.

Food good, but not great for the price. Not keen on the 'basket' presentation. Nice, friendly, helpful waitress. We will probably go again but not for s while.

Enjoyed the evening, staff very people & dog friendly. Our nacho starter was awesome . The burger for our main was tasty however it was a bit over cooked and as it wasn't cheap we can't give a maximum review.

A great rustic restaurant with attentive staff and lovely food. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that makes a refreshing change from the 'mainstream' styled restaurants. I would highly recommend this eatery, you will not be disappointed.

The pig and pallet never fails to deliver on customer service, quality of menu, presentation of food and above all, excellent ingredients. Their chacaturie is the best.

We gave eaten here twice before, but it has definitely taken a downhill turn. Prices have gone up whilst quality has gone down. Shame ,but a common occurrence when a new venture becomes tired

A very relaxed and friendly restaurant; does exactly what it says on the tin. Rustic charm and a hostess with the mostest. Main meals are huge so I would advise going there hungry! Local produce with a variety of real ale and sandford orchard ciders.

This restaurant has a laid back and casual atmosphere. We took the kids with us and never felt they were an inconvenience to anyone. They had toys and games to use and we all loved the quirky interiors, especially the watering can and tap lighting. There was always something intriguing to look at from any angle. Someone had brought their dog, who was very well behaved. The smell of the smoke from the burner entices you in and immediately makes you hungry. The service was very friendly and the menu had lots of choice. The kids meals were very reasonable at £5. Great place for large groups and families. Thank you for a great evening!

Very interesting restaurant and friendly staff. However, disappointed with the food. Portions were quite small and overpriced. Would expect real chips at these prices not oven fries on a par with the burger chains. Style over substance.

The staff are friendly the food fantastic and the location is fabulous. Inside the decor is rustic and fun. They are experts at smoking meat and preparing there own sausages and sliced hams. I also picked up a few products on the way out for at home. It made my home cooking pretty decent. Really enjoyed it.

Fabulous friendly and helpful service; a unique rustic yet warm and comfy interior and a great music soundtrack to enjoy your meal to. Topsham is a pretty village setting too. The ribs were very tasty but didn't really live up to the hype but the chuck steak was to die for. Great friendly service though and the speakeasy is a wonderful pint
