Service was good but the food was very mediocre and we were both still hungry after.

Lovely food and great service. We were well looked after. In fact we were so impressed we’ve already booked our next visit.

Nice atmosphere. The food was pretty good and fairly priced.

It was disappointing from my previous visit last year, the chips weren’t fully cooked and the fish dishes were lacking flavour. Just seems like it’s gone very basic but still expensive

As usual, the food and service at the Priest Hole is very good.

The steak pie & veg was excellent but the service was slow. It was 40mins after arriving at the restaurant before the mains were served. We ordered a dessert but after waiting 15/20mins for it to be served we cancelled as we had run out of time. So disappointed with that.

Food was amazing home cooked and staff were very friendly

Staff lovely, but unfortunately was cold and they took it back. They replaced both meals which were very nice.

We went to Priest Hole for my Daughters birthday we were a party of 10 including 3 children age 11 4 and 18 months. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

The food was great and friendly attentive service thought the evening

No other customers, despite not being able to book a different time. Blue cheese sauce did not taste of cheese at all! Music was depressing and had to ask for it to be changed. Not at all what I wanted for my husband’s 60th birthday.

My wife and I had the Sunday roast My wife had the turkey and I had the trio meats. Could not fault the quantity or quality. Would definitely book again.

Ordered the sirloin of beef which was a big mistake. It was very disappointing as it was very tough and fatty. Service was very slow. Only plus was the nice bottle of wine we enjoyed, won’t be returning

We had the lovliest waiter and waitress. They made us feel very welcome and as we were among the last few people to leave, we had a great chat at the bar and found out some history of the building. Very interesting. Will definitely visit next time we're over that way.

Friendly staff and easy booking. Food came out very quick and could have been hotter. Portions could have been bigger. No allergie sheets available !!
