First visit in a long time to The Priest Hole and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Atmosphere was superb and the restaurant was welcoming and warm after a wet day outside. The Beef short-rib special was particularly delicious.

Stayed in Ambleside for the Christmas Lantern Festival weekend & we were lucky to get a booking at The Priest Hole. fab food: Venison Shank & Mash. Hit the Spot nicely!

Lovely birthday dinner ! Staff pulled out all the stops by decorating the table with birthday balloons and sparklers on my cake which kids loved. Not forgetting the food which was outstanding as always here !

Not only are the people who work there friendly and helpful, the food is AH MAY ZING.

Really good food and value for money. They have a lovely building and could do so much more with the main room for not much money. That would improve the whole experience

Booked on a whim. Had no waiting on arrival. Food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. All in all a good evening.
