Incredible Sunday brunch in the most interesting surroundings. Staff accommodated us wonderfully even though we were early for our booking
Yolk @ Proud Archivist = great food, and reasonable service
Delicious 'munchies' menu. Friendly service. Great venue. Really enjoyed our visit.
My fish stew was one of the best I have tasted and I have eaten many on the continent and in the UK. Service was good and friendly. It was my first visit since a small party upstairs in August and I won't leave it so long before the next time.
Inconsistent service. A waiter we had this time generally did not care very much. Food was good and the surrounding amazing
I really love the food at the Proud Archivist/Yolk but there's not that many options on the menu unfortunately. Also I ordered a tea and had to wait 40min for it, even though the waiter apologise they didn't offer to pay for it which was not very kind of them. I'll go back but maybe just for coffee and cake.
Went there with three friends for brunch last Sunday. Service was pretty slow. Although having asked three times, we only got our water and drinks after our food had arrived. They also got one order wrong so my friend had to wait another 10 mins for hers. Portions not all that generous, but food was good in the end.
The sauce on the eggs Benedict was quite acidic. It had way too much vinegar in it. Other then that it was all beautiful and the service was lovely.
The Proud Archivist has one of the best location in London, the place looks fantastic inside, the food is incredible and the staff amazing. What else could you want?
Yummy eggs, fantastic bloody Mary's and a dab location! I'll return!
Service was more miss than hit - never before have I been asked to help stack the dirty dishes when a server came to collect them. But the food was quite good and reasonably priced.
Service was not great, unfortunately. Admittedly it was quite busy, but even so: it took over half an hour for the main to arrive; the rice crackers I ordered never arrived. We asked for tap water 3 times and never got it. We then asked for the bill and that also never arrived - so in the end we just went up to the counter and paid. I mentioned to the waiter at the counter that the service was a bit odd, and he said something about the kitchen being new and having lots of teething problems, though there was no apology or anything. My friend and I were very disappointed, and went to a cafe nearby straight afterwards for to make up for the bad experience here.
A really wonderful venue, very vibrant with a good mix of locals as well as event goers in the gallery space on the other end. great sunday roast.
Service was very slow and there was only eggs on the menu not great if u don't like eggs!
Reeeeeally expensive compared to what you're served. Service is fine. Good if you're only in for drinks !
Great atmosphere, great food, lovely service. I will surely go back!
Lovely Sunday roast. Really well presented and very tasty. Only very, very slight niggle was that food could have been warmer. Great restaurant with friendly staff and good buzz. Will definitely return. Please make one of the outside areas non-smoking though.
