Magnificent, beer, food and service. We have been waiting for a decent pub/restaurant in Lowdham for years. Now we won't have to keep walking to Caythorpe all the time.

Beautifully refurbished. Friendly staff although the obviously new young staff were a little tentative. The meal was excellent, so much care and attention was taken as i could see into the kitchen. Would recommend.

Really nice food and experience - very accommodating even though it was incredibly busy - great atmosphere - and great online booking , would definitely recommend.

I took my Mum for a late Mother's Day lunch and was really impressed. Delicious food, lovely interior and genuinely nice staff! I'll definitely be back again.

The food was delicious. Very well cooked. Would have liked slightly larger portions. the atmosphere was very good. Downside was the slow service . Altogether, it was very good

I was looking forward to trying the Railway Inn as hadn't been since the refurbishment. It has been done really well with lots of railway connections. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was very good. Will certainly return.

Lovely meal.. great service.. good surrounding and great background music. Definitely recommend a visit. Was great to catch up With friends ..we'll be back soon

Expensive food in an ambience of a chef and brewer family pub. Food was ok but overpriced and I dont want kids running around when I pay that sort of money for dinner they are restaurant prices in a pub

Lovely decor and ambience, pleasant staff. Good quality food but not quite enough of it. The creme caramel dessert in particular we felt was very small for the price, though beautifully presented with rhubarb.

Great meal with a good choice food and excellent service by all the staff. We will definitely be going back in the very near future.

Went with friends for a girly night out. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and pleasant staff. Will go again, might even take Hubby next time for a treat.

Excellent all round. I had the Stilton Red Onion and it was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The sweets were delightful. It was our second visit and definitely won't be the last.

We both had the set menu - 2 or 3 courses. The food was delicious, the staff very nice and welcoming and the place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be going back again and taking friends with us.

Wow what a great experience we had not heard or read any reviews so went with a totally open mind, the meal was absolutely one of the best we've had and we go out for meals at least twice a month all the staff were brilliant very friendly and efficient so well done we will be back very soon.

Food and service were bother fantastic. Had the rissoto and the chocolate mousse. Both were delicious. Service was great and we were not rushed, had the table all evening. Would highly recommend

The Railway has a great atmosphere, you are made to feel welcome as soon as you go in. The service is excellent and the food is unbelievable. All in all it was the best evening out for some time.

I visited the railway with my friends and our 3 daughters. We had a lovely afternoon the railway was relaxing and enjoyable the staff were attentive and we're quickly there if we needed anything the Sunday roasts were delicious and plentiful and the kids meals were a good size and tasty. Love the desserts planning on going back next Sunday with my husband and daughter. Thanks Railway we had a fab time!

Very recently refurbished to a high standard with lovely decor. Greeted on arrival by very pleasant staff the standard of service is extremely good . Food very tasty fresh good quality produce. Would highly recommend a really enjoyable meal and evening

The Railway provides a Warm, Friendly and Efficient service with a good atmosphere. Good food at reasonable prices. There is plenty of parking and in a good location.

We went for Sunday lunch (4.00pm) the service was good, atmosphere was spoiled by uncontrolled children running in & out. The roast dinners were average & not as good as others in the area, roast potatoes were under cooked, soft skin on the belly pork instead of cracking & no mash.

Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food was good but pasta was a bit bland. Burger was good and starters were good. We would come back again.

What a transformation! Excellent food in a very nice environment. Staff were very courteous and enthusiastic. The white bait (my favourite) was scrumptious. We will be back!

We turned up a little early with a 3 month old baby in a car seat and they could not have been more welcoming. It was a meal for my husbands birthday and without any prompting the Chef wrote a happy Birthday message on his dessert bowl which was so nice of them. The starter of scallops and black pudding was delicious.

We really enjoyed our meal yesterday (unfortunately it was under difficult circumstances as we lost a family member in the morning) if we had to offer feedback it was a little chilly between the two sets of doors, but we made up for that with drinks!!

We enjoyed our meal at the Railway Lowdham very much. Nice atmosphere. Lovely food. Great service. From our table we could see the chefs in the kitchen preparing the food and they took great care and attention to detail - very impressive.

Nice place, food was lovely, yorkshire pudding was a tad burnt but other than that it was lovely Had a beef sunday roast and a warm pistachio cake which was delicious
