Amazing food and great service! Booked in for 7, however we were running late - When we got there, there was no rush to sit down and let us take our time! ☺️

Service was a little slow on this occasion but we were among the first for an evening meal and when it arrived the food was great.

Easy to book online . Good food , our party of 5 all said how much they enjoyed their meal. We didn't have a pudding as too full. Slightly disappointed no coffee available , was offered alternatives.

Great food, with very good portion sizes - the veggie option was particularly good value at £10. Service was also good, the pub was very busy and we had to wait a little while for food but this was communicated to us by the friendly staff. Excellent!

Friendly staff, good selection on main menu, I went for the chicken burger which was delightful - good size portions. Only downside was the starters, small starters - I went for the duck and found it very bland.

It is a nice pub with a good friendly service but half the menu wasn't available as they had 'run out'. The food we did eat wasn't that great and not really worth the price so sadly we will not be going back.

Food was lovely, although got cold very quickly while we waited for our vegetables to arrive. Will definitely come again though. Food is always good.

This is a great place for sunday lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively; there is a great range of beers and wines; and the food is terrific. The puddings are good too!

Lovely Sunday menu - we all had different things and we were all pleased with what we had, clean plates all round. The fluffiest roast potatoes that I have ever eaten. We arrived just after a large group so it took a little while for the food to get to us but we didn't mind as it was nice to have time to chat. I was so full that I nearly didn't have desert but I am glad I changed my mind as that was the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had,

I was unable to attend but the rest of my party said food excellent but service poor. This is a shame - I believe it was slow and not attentive. Alli

Great food in a really nice environment. Sometimes the music was a little loud but I think we were near to a speaker. However, this did not spoil our experience and we will be back to see the lovely staff again.

We ordered goose steak and specifically asked if it was actually goose. When we got the dish it was actually beef. We complained to the waiter who apologised but overall this was very disappointing as we did not get the meal we were hoping for.

We chose the Reindeer Pub for our staff Christmas meal. We had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Perhaps the music was a tiny bit loud as there were a lot of other people dining at the same time and it was a little difficult to hear each other sometimes. However there was a good atmosphere overall and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Good wholesome lunchtime pub grub. Portions just right and good value for money. Large airy space and rustic charm. Good selection of ales and the one tasted was well served.

Staff were very pleasant, good atmosphere, tasty food at a reasonable price. The only thing for us (2 of us out for a birthday meal) was that the music was at a volume which meant we were having to raise our voices a fair bit to speak. I would say the volume could have been a little less which would have made for a slightly better experience. Overall though certainly not a disappointment and we would eat here again to try some of the other delicious things on their menu.

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Great music playing. Slightly cramped at the table given how close it was to the next table and seat unconventionally low. But overall impressed.

Went for the Sunday roast and would definitely recommend. Service was a little slow but that wasn't a problem for us as we weren't in a rush. Staff were very apologetic and let us know in advance so had more time to soak up the candle lit atmosphere and enjoy a drink or two.

We were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress, the place was quiet so we had our pick of the place of where to sit! Waitress was helpful with menu choices and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back!

They did not have my booking and made no effort to apologise for this, they stuck us in a corner with loud music and when we asked to move because we had made a booking they were very unhelpful and only actually moved us because somebody happened to cancel as I was asking to move. The food was good, but the service was terrible.

The food was very tasty, however the amount of veg that was presented for the three of us to share was very disappointing and i did have to order extra roasted potatoes.

Food excellent, very nice setting. Service very slow though, especially for the first drinks on arrival. Ordered three soft drinks, took more than 20 mins and still got one of the orders wrong. Very impressed by the portion size of my meal, quality and quantity 👌 Overall 4/6

Went for the Tuesday steak night and the food was outstanding. Steak was cooked perfectly with nice chips and mushrooms accompanying it. However, the real standout for me was the desert. The berry mess was popping with flavour, cleanly presented and felt like I was eating a desert from a high end restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Had high hopes from what I had already read on reviews and maybe my experience was a rare one. Turned up for the so called tomahawk Tuesday and got there nice and early so we could have a few drinks first. Was given menus and ordered the tomahawk for 2. 20 minutes later we get told they have no tomahawk! We left.

The food was nice nothing special and took a long time to arrive, also the service was very slow we were put on a table around the corner from the bar it was like we were forgotten about, at the end of the meal I had to go to the bar and ask for the bill as again I think we where forgotten about, also it was very cold in the pub and had to where coats to get a little warmer.

Excellent food and service, which is the best in the area. Roasts are the best in town and are served until the evening. Highly recommended!
