Always love this place. Great food, service and value for money.

Firstly the food was absolutely delicious. Lovely menu and the atmosphere was perfect. But I’m sorry to say the service was not. We had to wait ages before even getting someone to ask what we would like to drink and then another 20 mins before getting the drinks order - I think we had been seated about 40 mins before getting something to drink. We asked for a desert menu and gave up waiting. The food came in good time though and as I said was delicious

I had the crispy chilli beef and the Korean bbq. Both was amazing. The cocktails are very delicious. Best migaritas I have had in UK so far. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Plan on going back for sure

As always, The Rising Sun offers delicious food, the friendliest service, and the cocktails are super! Such a gem of a pub in the glorious countryside!

The food was excellent as always, but the new Marquee area ensured we were COVID safe, but also warm and comfortable.

All good apart for reprobates on nearby table who could not control their alcohol infused shouting. Not pubs fault, they can't account for bores & oafs!
