It was just so busy ... so no surprises but it did take more than an hour before our order was taken which is pushing it a bit... Food though was great but pricey.

Great pub, friendly staff and fantastic Sunday lunch. Would recommend.

Staff charming, pleasant and efficient, clearly making a good effort. Portion sizes were disappointing for the prices charged on both courses, especially the size of steak. Quality of food very high and requested treatment fairly (80%) compliant with prior clear requests. Range of food on offer nowhere near as wide as similar establishments locally & nationally. More healthy vegetables should be included with the meals and high fibre/ vitamin-y vegetable sides should be available. Quantities of dessert portions should be doubled just to stay even with local competition. Senior staff need to get out more to make price and range comparisons with all establishments within a 5-mile radius for both lunches and dinners.

Fantastic food- simple but cooked beautifully. Children proclaimed the chicken goujons as the best ever!

This was our first visit but will definitely not be our last. The food was delicious and the staff and clientele were very friendly. Our daughter uses a powered wheelchair and they all were extremely helpful in helping us into the pub.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere, gorgeous sunny garden (with shade) delightful interior, excellent selection of quality craft ales. Scrumptious menu items. High quality food ingredients (melt in the mouth steak), served with a smile and friendly attention. We’ll be back.

Super barman who looked after us. Couldn’t be more helpful. Food good I had bought a lady to visit there as she has just moved to the area - she really liked it too. Definitely go back as the menu is also super. I do not like brewery pubs but this is the exception.

Had a lovely meal with the family. The roast dinner was lovely as were the desserts. The staff were rushed off their feet but still managed to give a great service. Never had a bad meal at this pub.

Great pub. Quick, efficient service and very attentive. Food was of a good quality although a few minor points. Beef was sliced very thin for a roast, for a sandwich this would of been barely acceptable but on the upside cooked very nicely. (rare as you would expect) The only other point I have and I don’t understand why this seems to be a thing at the moment with pubs and roasts? purée veg has no place on a roast (subjective I know) but unfortunately In this case it made the already sweet gravy which was pleasant, very sweet and was an unwelcome addition. All In all tho very nice pub, nice atmosphere and great service would recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already.
