Food was tasty. However, starters came out at same time as main, even though we saw them sitting on the counter for at least 10mins (they didn’t charge us for them in the end). We weren’t told beforehand that there were no peas with the fish and chips meal as they had run out.
Nice venue , our sever friendly . Breakfast was good
Had full english breakfast. Everything was perfect. My friend had the vegetarian breakfast- he was also very complimentary. Good cappuccino and decent size. Tried the pancakes also which weren't that great but nevertheless great experience and will be back to try lunch / dinner menus! Big shout out to Kelly for looking after us. She was fantastic!
We had a full English breakfast, cappuccinos and juice. Our host, Kelly, was cheerful and attentive to our needs. The food was fresh and delicious and we enjoyed our visit.
Our table waiter was very friendly. Food was amazing when it arrived, however it took 20mins + to get our order
Amazing food great service, Bao buns and the pizza fantastic
Good table. Good food. Connie served us well. Very content
We attended for the Sunday roast at 6pm to be told we should book between 12-2pm as they sell out. This should be more explicit on social media or on the website. Our 2nd choices of lamb shank and fish and chips were also sold out, so overall disappointing. One positive was the service.
What a disappointment. Booked for 3.30pm on a Sunday to be told they only had Roast Chicken left, no roast potatoes, but could have chips, then no cauliflower cheese or pigs in blankets. Decided to have fish and chips, fairly straightforward you would think, but it looked and tasted like it had just come out the freezer, and not a good one!. They replaced our food with something else which was okay, but by this time our party had already finished their dinner. The server told us they had taken off the fish and chips off the bill which was kind of them since we hadn't eaten it. We paid the bill, nothing discounted for all the inconvenience and a service charge already added!! We paid as one of the party didn't feel well and just wanted to leave otherwise we would have said something, but to be honest they should have done more. Absolutely shocking food and service, we wont be in a hurry to return
Great service and food would definitely go back and recommend to friends
Beautiful experience, affordable food, went for my birthday and got a small birthday message with ice cream
Kelly was great. Friendly helpful, she made our visit great.
Came on the recommendation of our son who we were visiting. Very impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor too. One of the best fish and chips I have eaten, no grease and great chips
Reslly really really really really really really Really good food
brilliant food price and service amazing decor very clean nice friendly atmosphere
Nice vibe, good menu, tasty food, speed of service a little casual but always friendly.
Great food & service, always a perfect Sunday afternoon !
Great food, lovey atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend
Food was so nice! I had the Korean beef bagel.
Food poor compared to recent visits which equates to bill being expensive for what we had
Love going to the rolling mill had the chicken Sunday roast which I love however today the potatoes were far to big therefore they wasn't cooked enough everything else was lovely
ALL of the staff at The Rolling Mill were brilliant and Sunny (General Manager) in particular, was accommodating and a pleasure to organise our PDR with. Highly recommend and great food too!
Enjoyed the food, service was quick and George was very pleasant and helpful.
Ran out of the lamb Sunday dinner - so went with the beef. Asked for pink but was very overdone and chewy. Roast potatoes were a little undercooked but vegetables were very good. Service was attentive and friendly
Had a great evening staff were lovely and the atmosphere and venue was awesome.
Super slow service. None of the waiters even smiled and my drink has a spider in it and the waiter acted like he wasn’t even bother with no form of compensation. 🙄🙄🙄
Ok food, long service. 20 minute wait for coffee order, 40 minutes for breakfast. Seemed like only 2 waiting staff for the whole venue.
I wasn’t happy with the menu, a bit over priced for me, only got a tiny bit of rice with a piece of salmon . Did not enjoy it. The pizza was nice.
We had a lovely meal. The staff were very nice
Very quick service, good food just the meat was slightly overdone on the roasts not pink as they had asked us our preference.
Long wait for mediocre food served cold and overcooked meat
Steak cut was stringy & under cooked. Always loved the rolling mill but not tonight
the food was great, although slightly overpriced. Great ambience & service!
Lovely Christmas Eve meal with our family. Food was great and service was very good. Will definitely be back soon!
Service was prompt and friendly. Cocktails were perfect. Food was flavoursome but not hot in temp enough. Also, portion size is a bit on the small size considering what you charge. This is our second visit and we all agreed that the menu has got better. We wouldn’t return if prices go up.
First impressions were good and cocktails whilst at the top end of price range with no 'deals' were of good enough quality to be value for money given the location. The service was brilliant and our server efficient, pleasant and helpful. Can't praise him enough. Exactly the ambassador for the brand you would desire. The food? Looked good. Definitely Insta friendly. Unfortunately it appears to that look was put over taste and value for money. The Chicken and Leek pie had 4 pieces of chicken in it and the leek? Must have leaked out. Whilst you accept with a puff pastry there will be a gap between pastry lid and filling, to see an unappealing white mess clinging to the bottom of the pie dish was really disappointing. The loaded fries? Looked good, tasty enough but as so often just turned into bit of an uninspiring mush. The Roast Dinner. Who decided that stacking it all up on top of each other was clever. A ridiculous and unappealing way to present a classic dish. Just silly. Was tasty enough but given the price, not value for money. Roast potatoes undercooked. A proper chicken breast would also have been far more appreciated. The food has potential but profit margins and style appear to have been put ahead of taste and value. Given the price v the quality of food we probably would be unlikely to return. The restaurant also became unbearably warm around 4pm. This made desert and waiting for the bill a little less pleasant.
Really good food and amazing service. Pork dishes are to die for..
