The vegetarian choice is limited, which is a shame as the meal was good for everyone else. The feta parcel needed more on the plate, the parcel and small side is insufficient in my opinion. The burger was delicious.

We have been to this pub before and thought it was worth another visit. We were not disappointed, good food, good wine and a nice atmosphere. I was meeting a friend who I hadn't seen for a while and we wanted to talk and catch up. This pub is not noisy and you can hear yourself speak, not easy to find these days!

This was our first visit to the R&C. Overall good, but very slow service and they forgot our drinks order. Food was delicious, though, so we’d go back.

Beautiful furnishings, lovely waitresses. Food wasn't very hot but tasty. Parking very limited so could be a problem when restaurant is full. Overall nice restaurant.

Service was friendly and attentive in a great way. The food was delicious, baked Camembert was the best we’ve had in a long time, fish and chips was cooked perfectly and not greasy, desserts were lovely but beat us!!

Lovely reception from the bar staff, we ordered our drinks and sat next to the fire being going into the restaurant for dinner. We were on our way to a gig so when we saw two large tables (one of 8 and one of 6) ordering we were worried that we would be later. Totally unnecessarily however, we were served between the two and the mean (two classic burgers) was delicious. We will definitely return again, and make sure we have more time.

Went for a lovely long dog walk, then went to the Rose & Crown for a fabulous roast dinner, pork was tender and crackling amazing, roast beef was melt in the mouth! Potatoes perfect and lovely veg. Pudding was pretty good too.

Lovely lunch. Great food especially Sunday Roasts. Friendly service. Service just a tiny bit slow though. They could’ve have done with one more pair of hands through a busy Sunday lunch. Would definitely go back though.
