Lovely roast thank you. We were a group of 16 and were very well looked after.
Great Sunday roast and the apple crumble with custard was one of the best I’ve had!
Great pub lunch. Very generous portions. Kid friendly. Beautiful Victorian bar.
The food was nice, a bit sparse on taste and presentation - the portions were very small indeed!
Definitely one of the best roasts in London. Everything is on point; perfectly coked meat, crispy potatoes, excellent gravy & fluffy yorkshires. Great beer & wine selection and the pub itself is lovely too
The food was lovely and service was very good. We will go again.
Delicious food and the cosiest atmosphere. Just what’s needed on a cold winters day.
Food was so delicious. One of the best Chinese meals we have tasted. The waiter Jose was really good too. Definitely a hidden gem we have found and hope to go back.
Pub itself is nice, staff are nice, but sadly the food was grossly overpriced and tasteless and overcooked. Waiting time for main was ok but waited 20 mins for apple crumble. Vegatable Wellington was tasteless and mushy. Couldnt tell there was butternut squash or spinach or ricotta in it! Cabbage was horrible and burnt, bitter tasting. Roast potatoes were burnt and small and rock hard. Could have done with some other veg such as Broccoli or peas or green beans. Yorkshire was freezing cold! The Apple Crumble was really burnt on top and just a slimy sugary mess under the crumble. It came with a teeny tiny pot of cheap, yellow custard which was so small that I ran out half way throught the pudding. Considering the roast was £16 and the pudding was £5, I would expect a much better standard of food. I would not recommend the food here, though the pub itself is lovely.
A great place with a real buzz about it. Will go there again.
Wonderful pub, cracking atmosphere and a delicious range of beers.
