Service friendly, food very good, I had the half rack of ribs, with sweet potatoe fries and Coleslaw,rather a lot of background noise made conversation difficult.

Food was ok, bar my wife having ribs that were unfortunately dry, which ruined the experience for me on the evening. I would also say that whilst it is a unique experience, I felt it was pricy for what you received. To be fair the server reimbursed my wife's meal so not all bad as it helped reduce that average price per head for the food and drink from £27 down to £23 each.

The 4 of us had a great night are table was ready for us on arrival and all the staff were very hard working and very friendly. The meal we had was just top class great food all four of us enjoyed the evening. We are planning a large group of friends for are next vist Smoke Pit you have been warned lol

Food was delicious. There was a bit of a long wait for our main but it was very busy and they gave us complimentary drinks to apologise.

Great food with a different and unique atmosphere, it was a tad overpriced but I'd definitely go again. Wish we had saved more room for desert!

Can't fault the food, left with a full stomach to bursting point. Bit of a delay in both starter & mains arriving. Definitely not fine dining, but will visit again, great for groups wanting an informal night out.

Great food, amazing looking restaurant, great art on display, good choices of beers and for a reasonable price. Staff was really kind, our waitress took really good care of us.

The food was excellent and service very good. We booked for 5pm on a Sunday which was nice as not too busy. We will visit again.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with a party of 8(including very 2 young boys) the food was perfect and the refill drinks choices were amazing too. Would definately recommend a visit and will be going again.

Brilliant! Went with my Dad who is Harley Rider, this was appreciated by the owner who made my Dad feel extremely welcomed. Food is as always AMAZING!

Overall a good dinning experience , food order was taken straight away ...However the food took 35 minutes to arrive and the restaurant was not that busy so alittle disapointed on that front ..The quality of the food when it arrived was excellent .

What can I say. Possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. I'm a meat lover and we had a shared platter with a HUGE variety of food. It was absolutely delicious and just a bit different and better quality to what you would typically find in an American / BBQ styled diner. In addition to that, staff were really friendly, it played some wicked music including Green Day amongst other bands and had some wicked decor. It was a little bit expensive but I think the price is reflective of how fantastic the food is. Couldn't say a bad thing. You need to go here.

Great food and good cocktails - our only issue was it is a very noisy restaurant, felt like we were shouting across the table to each other just to be heard.

Staff did not appear friendly, noisy restaurant, I ordered a Southern fried burger which I did choose no cheese or dressing, arrived quickly, food was good with plenty of it.

Yummy selection of meats in the shared platter - just a shame we couldn't finish it all. Thanks for the doggy bag though! First class!

Our first visit to The Smoke Pit was excellent, good food and lots of it so you need to be hungry. Fantastic service from people that know their stuff and we are already planning or next visit :-)

Excellent service and atmosphere, but food a bit of a let down and quite pricey. The food could have had more flavour, even though quantities were very good!

We had a really lovely night the atmosphere was great with the music that was playing also. One member of staff was nice and chatty but another was not so much. But all in all we had fun

Waiter was a bit confused, food took way to long, burger was dry and felt like it had been standing, asked for refills on drinks twice, never appeared, took forever to pay so we ended up walking to the bar...you did ask for a review!

We had a table for two reserved for Saturday evening. We were promptly seated but we're informed that we may have to wait up to 45mins before our food would arrive. It took a little longer than that but the food was excellent and the service was great. We love the atmosphere there and the décor.

Amazing! Going back very soon! We thought we could manage the portions, but you will struggle to finish the food, every once delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!

This was the first time we had visited and very impressed. Service was excellent and food was top quality. My only non compliant is the size of the nacho starter we had was massive, meaning we felt a little fuller than we would have liked for the mains. However this was not an issue as the staff happily boxed up the remainder of the food so we could take it home :) Overall exllecnt experience and will be recommending to friends and family. Looking forward to going back already :)

Polite staff and good atmosphere a nice light lunch and The bottom less drink were worth the money cause you get at large glass and you have a lot of different drinks to choose from.

The portions are so large, and the meat so rich that it quickly turns into a man v food competition which is not my idea of fun. I shudder to think of the level of food wastage there.

Delicious food in monster portions with good service in a relaxed pleasant atmosphere. 4 big boys struggled to finish their meals, so we brought some of it home!

The staff were really great. Had the meat platter ribs and pulled pork were brilliant. If your really brave try there extra hot sauce not for the faint hearted

Terrible. Waited 40 mins after our drinks for food and it was really quiet. Me and the Mrs had same burger (cow pig chicken burger) and have both been up all night on the loo and throwing up.

My steak wasn't quite cooked to order but it didn't matter. It tasted gorgeous and melted in the mouth. It was very busy so service a little slow but a great atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

The food and environment were lovely. The staff were polite and attentive. Service was quick and no long wait between courses. Only minor negative was Pricing slightly high.

The food is amazing every time, the portions are a good size and there's a great selection - I highly recommend the sharing platter for a bit of everything. You'll want to carry on eating long after you're full!
