Good food and large portions. This is our favourite celebration spot. We'd recommend this for anyone who enjoys a friendly, family style restaurant. The dessert menu rocks!

Excellent meal fresh not frozen breaded mushrooms perfect steak and great new York cheesecake. Must go again soon. Becks larger good. Toilets OK but could perhaps need improving in the gents.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service! The restaurant has a good selection of soul music playing but conversation is still easy. Steaks are quality and generous.

Fantastic as ever, will be back. Food well priced, perfect location for a night out. And the music on offer should be enough to get you in

Food always very good and service good. All steaks were cooked exactly to ordered requirements and all food was delivered to table at the same time.

Good service lovely place but too much food for us and steak knives need sharpening. I loved the free jukebox it was a nice touch.

Food was lovely, staff need a bit more training. Helpful and polite but needed prompting with things, like bought a jug of water as requested but no glasses.

4 of us went on saturday lunch and had an amazing meal. We had 2 burgers, a steak and a gammon steak and we all said how nice the food was. Good service by staff as well. :)

There were 9 of us, the food was lovely. Some of us had starter, all had mains and some of had deserts. We could not fault the food or service. We will be going again and highly recommend it.

Nice steaks but service was slow and they had no corn on the cobs or any pork chops for the mixed grill and no offer of any replacement

I took my mum out for Mother's Day lunch, we went early, just after opening but it soon got busy. We wanted to order dessert at the same time as our mains but we weren't allowed which meant a lot of extra waiting around as the staff were run off their feet and took a while to get back round to us. The meal was nice and my mum got a free dessert but it wasn't off the dessert menu so she had it to take away and ordered the dessert she really wanted to eat there. I got given a very dirty spoon with my dessert and I'd say they were under staffed but the food was lovely.

We really enjoyed the whole experience, it was lovely food and drink, great service and the children were well catered for and had a good choice of meals.

Excellent meal, friendly staff. As usual soulville helped make a special family meal grear. The food was tasty and the staff were very attentive. Always the first place I choose when eating out.

here at Soulville you have a great atmosphere, good music and lovely friendly staff, so with good company and delicious food it's a great evening out. I think that says it all.

The waitress was very friendly and efficient and took our order promptly, however my husband ordered his steak medium rare but felt it was more rare than medium. We didn't complain as the meal was otherwise very nice. I ordered a key lime pie for dessert, it was lemon meringue not key lime. I did tell the staff but was told it was manufactured and apologized. We did enjoy our meal but was spoiled by the dessert.

Excellent food, cooked to perfection. Attentive service from the staff, and good value for money. Made my birthday lunch a memorable occasion. Will certainly go again and recommend the Steakhouse to my friends.

We arrived very early on a Friday evening. The food was excellent. The service was quick and attentive. We liked the fact that there is a juke box with old music on which is free for you to choose songs from. We would visit again.

The food is lovely. I had BBQ spare ribs and the meat just fell off the bone. The soft drinks and hot drinks were very reasonably priced. The only thing that let it down for me was the restaurant wasn't warm enough. Several people were sat with their coats on so I don't think I was the only person that was cold. Overall, the restaurant was great value for money and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

The food was fantastic and the service from the staff was excellent. Definitely return to this restaurant. Best cooked Steak I have had in a very long while.

they hadn't got our reservation written in there book. Nobody had checked the computer as they was busy. Had to wait 20min. But the food was very nice.

Was our first time in here, and aside from a few blips that can be ironed over due to brand new trainee staff, we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, my partners steak was cooked perfectly for how she likes it. The staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely recommend and be visiting again.

The staff were great they didn't keep coming over and asking if it was ok they just left you to eat in peace. Food was too notch excellent atmosphere. Will be going again

The Soulville Steakhouse came highly recommended to us, so we thought it would be nice for a birthday meal. It was perfect, the staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and fun , the food was presented well and cooked to perfection. Most of our party had a steak, each one cooked as required, everyone was very happy , we had a lovely, happy evening . Thank you Soulville, Chesterfield it was brill. Shall definitely recommend you.

Staff were very good the restaurant was very cold only three seperate couples in so bery quiet. The food was average steak wasnt cooked enough even though we were asked. This wasnt the only thing,probably went with too high expectation.

Food was lovely and the service was excellent all made even better by the cheaper early evening rates not that it's expensive in the first place. It wasn't our first visit and will definitely return.

A group of 6 on a birthday celebration we all enjoyed our food very much the only down side was the restaurant was absolutely freezing to the point that 4 out of our party ate with coats on.I must admit we should of complained on the day but we just felt we didn't want to spoil the persons birthday .

Food was good, service really good but I get the place is beginning to get a bit tired and worn, could do with sprucing up. You especially tell when you use the toilet very shabby. But would recommend.

When we arrived my booking wasn't in their bookings register . They did however get us a table . We thoroughly enjoyed the food. We both had different meals and both equally as nice

Lovely meal I had the steak chicken rib combo and the jacket potato had a lovely crispy skin mmmm nom. My daughter had the tuna steak with spicy poss Cajun costing and lovely fat chips - she really enjoyed it plus a bottle of Prosecco

The food was stunning but ther service was shocking. It wasn't overly busy but quite clearly the kitchen can handle it but not the waiting on staff. We ordered our drinks as soon as sat down but we didn't actually get them until we were half way through our meal and that was after asking for them twice more

Nice food, a long wait between main and desert order to be taken, other than that service was good. Chips werent very nice but everything else was beautiful.

Our table was ready and we were expected. The staff were friendly and efficient, good food cooked as requested served in pleasant surroundings . Great night out with family.

Service leaves a lot to be desired. We waited ages for our drinks and one meal out of the five was wrong and we were cold. We asked if we could move to the couches for coffee but no one came for our order

very busy today but we did not have to wait very long to be served and still very good portion sizes and very friendly staff
