The Soulville Steakhouse - Chesterfield

We were seated quite quickly , we ordered with no hitches food was most enjoyable (fillet steak) nice dessert & coffee. Staff were very pleasant

I had a colleague over from London and they were very impressed with the chicken and bacon salad and the crab cakes. I personally love the mushroom pepper pot it's just yummy

We really enjoyed the food. The service was quick and polite. And our whole visit there was great. Good variety on the menu too. We will go there again.

Went as a party of 10 for a birthday. Had the £7.95 two course menu. Steak was great, as were the chunky chips. Had side orders of coleslaw and onion rings - fantastic. Great value. One of the best meals we've had. Great service too. Will definitely be back.

When we arrived for our reservation we were told they couldn't get into the office so didn't pick up our booking. They gave us a table but as soon as we had finished our meal they asked us if we could leave the table because they had a booking for it. The food was really good as usual.

Great food with a good atmosphere. I had steak and it was cooked just as I asked. Staff were attentive and made it a good night. I would recommend a visit.

Great place have been before, however the restaurant did not have us booked in when I did it online through Quandoo. We were seated but a little disappointed! It was Mothers Day and they had been very busy throughout the day, and they did apologise. Hence the little disappointment.

Starters were great. Myself and my husband both had burgers for mains. Overall meal was bland and tasteless. Chips were supposed to be twice (or triple) cooked. I find this hard to believe as they were barely cooked. Burger had a very strange taste to it. Even the coleslaw looked and tasted bland. Overall very disappointed.

Fantastic meal. Steak was just cooked right. Pleasant and efficient staff. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely go again and recommend it to others.

Everything was spot on took people that had never been before & they want to go back just because the steak come just how they wanted it.

Great food, average service. We were rushed through our food with each new course being brought out immediately after the last. The waitresses didn't make eye contact with us and just realed off 'waitressing-by-numbers' style phrases without really even listening to our responses. Although we really loved the food, the service spoilt our experience a little.

Great place ! Staff are always really friendly and food is delicious every time :) reasonable priced ! We love it and keep going back each special occasion and for random mid week date nights :)

I love this place but wish they would change the chips , they atrium TOO thick and chunky , more like frozen roast potatoes !

Had a fabulous afternoon with my family for my birthday. All food was delicious and the best steak i have ever tasted. Will definitely be returning .

Best food in Chesterfield. Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere. Good prices for the big portions, I always go before 5pm for the 25% off which is even better!

Disappointing meal steak nice but chips not crisp & hard tinned mushrooms & pud aerosol cream not fresh whipped as stated juke box wasn't working

Food was out of this world! Service was amazing very helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Pricing was reasonable. Great value for money very pleasant experiance would defo book again!

The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. We were sat downstairs, which lacks a bit of atmosphere, but is alot quieter, which is good for a group. We all asked for our steaks to be cooked differently and all were spot on, we particularly liked your chips, which are more like roast potatoes !! We were impressed and will be back.

Felt like the staff was rushing us through our courses attempting to walk over numerous times to takes plates then realising we haven't actually stopped eating, also on my main the mash was overworked and lumpy and the pastry on my goats cheese flan tasted of grease. So i only ate the topping and salad so i was still hungry after i left.

Very friendly staff that ensured that our experience at The Soulville Steakhouse was fab. The theme of the restaurant was great and we had a lovely evening.

Fantastic food plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly, it was a little bit dark while eating but will be returning very soon.

Service was very slow even though the restaurant was very quiet- only 3 tables were dining including our own. Taking 20 minutes minimum to do things like take out order, clear our plates, bring out food. I have had better experiences at Soulville in the past! The only reason I didn't didn't it a 1 was because the food was nice

Booked Soulville for a family get together, we loved the lively atmosphere & good music, ordered the three course menu which was really good value and the food was great. The staff were friendly & helpful, all in all a great place to eat.
