Food was lovely but felt rushed. We could barely finish each course before it was taken away. Felt like we needed to leave

We've eaten at the restaurant or taken away food for years and love it. However, last night the chicken in all 4 dishes was tough which was disappointing. We still enjoyed our meal.

Unfortunately even though we booked a table there was no available table when we got there so we had to eat elsewhere. It is a shame we were not notified in advance

Service was brilliant, food was good but atmosphere not good as no other diners in there apart from us after 7.30! And it was a Friday night.

We have been going to The Spice for many many years and the food is always delicious. Our service on New Year's eve was OK but we felt very rushed at the end. We wanted to have Irish coffees but they said they were too busy. The table next to us had Irish coffees. Our visit ended on a sour note. We were disappointed because we like eating at the Spice.
