Fabulous food and just the best ales. Friendly staff great atmosphere.
The food was fantastic even though we’d had quite a wait for it to arrive. We would definitely recommend to others Andy return if in the area.
Good location for a tasty lunch with wife and dog. Welcomed as old friends even though we haven’t visited before.

People who ordered after us were served mains before us, after 40 minute wait . We would have liked a pudding but after 20 minutes waiting with empty plates in front of us we asked for the bill. The pub was not particularly busy so I am not sure what the problem was.

Friendly welcome, good service, pleasant and bright room, tasty and good value food. The chicken and tarragon pie was good although a little dry inside.
