The food was very nice but the service was really slow. A bit disappointed as previously it has been excellent.

The four of us had a nice meal, though the last couple of times we’ve been here my husband has not enjoyed his meal so much. We are regulars here. Usually a very good meal but I do wonder if they have a new chef here now?

Good food and friendly staff, but had to wait over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Hopefully, just a one off. Will find out on my next visit.

What a lovely pub! Decor is beautiful and the Sunday roast is lovely and well priced! Staff are friendly and the service is excellent and speedy! Had a wonderful family meal here!

The food we received was very good but some of it was missing. Or there was an extra specifically requested to be excluded. Three meals, none of which were correctly served. Compensated for at the till—thanks for recognising the issues. Waiting staff excellent, suspect the problem lay with an overworked chef who did not read the orders accurately. Give the place a try, I am quite sure our experience is the exception rather than the rule.

Three main meals not available plus two sweets at 8.15pm on New Years Eve?. The black forest roulade was cut so very thin - at £5.95? I asked for some extra liver and expected an added cost but £4.95 more and I really could not see the extra I was getting. The restaurant needs to be careful as it is so easy for reputation amongst so much competition to fall. I do want to see the restaurant succeed.

The service was spot on, the food was lovely however slightly disappointed to be informed on arrival a selection of items were not available due to the kitchen not getting deliveries from suppliers however there has been 3 possible delivery days since Christmas. The rump steak ordered was advertised as 8oz but when it arrived it was no more than 6oz to the normal eye this would of not been noticed but coming from a butchery background it was quite clear.
