We had a table next to the kitchen so there was double amount of noise from the restaurant and from the kitchen. Food was average so it was not good value for money. Service was quick that I can say!

2 out of three diners had a wonderful meal. I chose the meat-free burger and it was lacklustre, poorly presented and overcooked. For £12 I really expected a little more than an overcooked patty in a dry bun with a piece of lettuce... not good at all. A pity - the staff were amazing and the atmosphere was fine.

Lovely Sunday roast and I enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden. Staff were very attentive and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Good portion size.

Great food, always have some great specials on. Good for a bit of ppl watching as ppl like going on first date there lol. Oh the Guinness is not too bad either.

Absolutely love the Stonhouse - great atmosphere and a really lovely pub. Been got a few meals here and always been very impressed. Went for a roast this time which was good but I think they carve the meat ahead of time and leave it under a heat lamp or similar so parts of the meat that were more exposed to the heat were a little dry and chewy which was a shame. Overall we still enjoyed the meal and it was a tasty roast but not the best we’ve had in clapham.

Lovely warm and cosy gastro pub tucked away back from the main high street. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food. Also an absolute bargain as food and G&Ts were both half price!

The food in the stonhouse was good, but not great. For some reason they’ve taken the roast pork off the menu and only had chicken, beef or veggie roast. The pork has always been one of their best dishes, which is very disappointing. Also the roast potatoes were a little over cooked and chewy.

A traditional pub setting which seems to be serving food at every table. This is possibly because they are doing a half price food promotion in January. Well worth a visit.

Food was very good but it was hard for us to get the staff’s attention because we were rather neglected in the corner booth. Hence the 4 stars. They were very busy because of the 50% off deal. Great value for money with this deal though!

Very good food overall. The B12 burger is a triumph! The service is good and the staff very friendly. Two things let it down - The batter on the fish was not crisp enough and one of our seats was in a thoroughfare for table service.

Found the staff very efficient, happy to help. The men liked the draught beer, excellent wine list and lovely food to go with it. We would happily return and recommend.

I always have the best roasts here, I have been twice. First visit was excellent, the second visit was average. Food was great but the service was not. We asked for horseradish sauce, and the waiter explained they were out - however when we walked past the kitchen to go to the restrooms there was a massive pot of horseradish sauce on the side. disappointing. the manager then felt the need to come up to us and almost shout at us. Probably will not return.

Sunday afternoon for a roast. They had run out of chicken and beef (had to have brisket) which was dry. Stingey with the veg - looked like they were trying to eek out what they had in the kitchen. A miserable experience

I booked the Stonhouse for Sunday lunch to catch up with a friend. I decided to have the roast chicken dinner, which was very tasteful and enjoyable and would recommend.

Staff really friendly and helpful, great with children. Family enjoyed their meals although burger meal was over cooked and bread bun stale, we had the 50% January offer although the final bill was quite expensive considering the deal! Overall good service.

It was a brilliant start to 2019. The food was great and thank you to all the staff who were very patient and friendly on New Year’s Day!
