Lovely food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Had booked for Christmas Day lunch and was happy with the menu choices and the price. Would recommend.

Very very Friendly staff and delicious food, warm and cosy atmosphere. Will definitely come back! Also dogs are allowed so that’s a bonus for dog owners.

Extremely long wait to be served, food was just lukewarm so only had a Sunday roast to which they added a £5 charge which was non negotiable. Won’t be in a hurry to return!

Food was good and very quick. Felt some staff were preoccupied talking to other members of staff. Bathroom weren’t very clean. I understand it was Christmas but they were extremely messy.

Excellent- great service - great food - great atmosphere. Have eaten here many times. It’s always good. Nice cosy pub in winter and great vibe in summer.

Things missing from the menu because they didn’t have time to cook it? I feel like it’s gone from being quite a special place to just an average pub. Food was still good but all but one staff didn’t seem to care much.

I have eaten here numerous times and it is always a pleasant experience. The steaks are delicious and cooked as requested. Staff are always friendly.

GREAT ROAST, staff were fab - and the martini instead of a pudding was absolutely delicious. This is the perfect pub in London for a Sunday lunch. Great that you accommodated an extra person thank you.

Great Sunday Roast. The staff were working flat out - really friendly and attentive - but they’d had a technical problem which made the order/service slow. But that wasn’t their fault, and it didn’t really affect what was a first class roast. Parsnip soup was less inspiring, but their Sticky Toffee Pudfing was really good. Definitely would recommend

Great service but the Sunday roasts we had were slightly disappointing compared to previous experiences and much smaller quantities - served in smaller plates too. We decided not to go for desserts as a result and went elsewhere

Ordered a nut roast which was very dry and dense. Had to send it back. The beef roast was lovely and we got a free desert

Lovely pub, beautiful steaks and great atmosphere. The prawn starter was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It is a hidden gem tucked away in the back streets of Clapham

Very attentive service and regular changes of the menu make it worthwhile coming again and again. We also like the cocktails in particular the French Martini.

Good food, service and table. Perfect for a Sunday roast. The house red is really good too. I would recommend, they were really busy but the service and food did not suffer.

Went for a Sunday roast. Food arrived cold. Awful roast potatoes - a good 30 minutes off being cooked. Chicken had flabby skin. Really not good at all!

Excellent lunch with excellent service. The food was very good and appreciated by all. Only downside was the we rushed at the end of the meal as the table was required. We will be back

Good local gastro pub with good atmosphere and friendly staff

Some of the best pub food in the local area and great service. The steaks are particularly great. Dogs welcome too, plus there is a lovely beer garden. Highly recommended.

We've had better meals at The Stonhouse in the past but the service was as impeccable as before. The recommended Argentinian Malbec was the perfect choice to have with our steaks.

I have visited here on several occasions, and it is consistently good. My only complaint is that they never have my first choice of wine. Good value.

Food & service was very good. The only drawback was that we were on a small table tucked away around the back. Apart from that we will be back.

Our booking for New years eve was great, we had the table all evening and so could have drinks followed by dinner and then more drinks and celebration afterwards!

Friendly attentive staff. A pleasant space. Grilled chicken in the salad was freshly grilled. Elderflower margarita a truly sublime experience. Only grip? Still neighbours smoking in beer garden; but then you can’t please everyone!

The food is in a far higher class than most of their competitors - thoughtful dishes which are well prepared and well presented. Services is attentive, friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices, including the wines (which we were offered to sample before we chose). I recommend the desert cocktail!
