The Sugar Hut - Liverpool

Wasn't even open when we turned up but still allowed us to book a table absolutely shocking, all social media has been taken down including their website

They ruined my birthday. It wasn’t even open and mg friends and I were left searching for a restaurant for over an hour. No recommendation

Lovely experience, food was nice and service was good . The waiter made sure that drinks we ready available and also recommended the prawns for a starter, which were good

A little bit of chaos when we first arrived but Amy looked after us well at the bar until our table was ready, almost half an hour later than it was booked for but that didn't cause us any major hassles. Food was great, we had a Groupon voucher so the menu was a bit limited but the food certainly wasn't lacking in quality and the service was great. Will definitely be going again.

Lovely place to eat and have a drink, food was at a good standard but it would have been nice if the chocolate brownie wasn’t hard

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was awful. The starters were ok but the steak we had for the mains were inedible. We were given a limited menu because we had vouchers. A choice of 3 dishes. Very very disappointed.

Nice place but the restaurant was a lot quieter and not as lively as what we were expecting. There wasn’t a great selection on the menu and the food didn’t wow us. The service however was very good and we still had a nice evening.

Lovely restaurant with very attentive staff, particularly Ryan. Went with my husband and we had three courses each: he had chicken wings to start and they were delicious and then flattened rump (his favourite cut) but it was tough. I had Thai curry which was very tasty. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would go again.

Unfortunately my wife and I had to leave because of the lack of heating we where extremely cold and I was physically shacking . I did speak to the staff about it and they said “the heating system is broken and are waiting for it to be repaired”. Praise to be giving to the staff and food both where fantastic.

Would recommend to any one great night food was lovely and staff were of an excellent standard they were very friendly and accommodating especially Jake. Thank you for a great night.

We had a great time (6 of us) and the food was lovely. Staff were very helpful and attentive. I got the impression there would be live music as I'm sure I read that on the website or maybe it's because I saw the piano and assumed but it was club music and was quite loud. It didn't really bother me but it did feel like we were eating in the nightclub. Overall good experience. Thank you

The venue was great. Staff really friendly. Mains could have done with being hotter. However the food was lovely. Would recommend to anyone and definitely go back.

Food was excellent!! Very reasonable price. Staff were also very good, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended! Perfect venue for any special occasion. Will definitely return!

The roast was delicious and the cocktails even better! Very lovely, helpful staff and a really nice atmosphere. Will be returning again, we highly recommend!

The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. Could not have asked for a better evening, not a single fault or issue to report. The interior to the restaurant is stunning and he staff were welcoming and friendly at all times. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

The Resturaunt is gorgeous. Staff where very welcoming. Food was lovely. Child’s party ruined the whole experience. We were not made aware of it on arrival

The service is the best we’ve ever received the young gent is very good at his job. The food is Devine . There are lots of menus to choose from

We went for lunch on Friday 13th October and we were served by Danielle who made us feel welcome and was very attentive. She explained the menu to us and the service she gave us was excellent. The restaurant was clean and well furnished and overall a place you would like to return to. On top of this the food was impeccable! There was good sized portions that were well presented. I tend to order chicken wings as a preferred starter wherever I go and I have to say the chicken wings I ate at Sugar Hut were the best wings I’d ever had! Before we left Danielle showed us the new menu and we will definitely be returning for another meal in the near future! 10/10!!

Fabulous food, as always, love it here! But quiet but it was early afternoon on a Thursday.

The food was delicious and lovely friendly staff and good atmosphere! The service was fast! We had to wait a little while for drinks we ordered but they more than made up for it 5*

The food was lovely, the only downside was that it was quite empty. In all fairness it was 4.45pm on a Monday, so I suppose it was to be expected.

Great food. Great service. Would defiantly recommend to others. Also value for money. Would defiantly go back if I come to Liverpool again. Smiles all round.

Roast dinner was excellent with 2 for 1 cocktails to go alongside. However they had no mint behind the bar for mojitos (a few mains had mint in as well so don't know what they would have done for that). Service was okay. Walked into zero staff present and zero customers at my booked time. Atmophere was strange and had to walk round to find some help. Food came out fast (as expected being he only table present) and the food and drinks was good value for money.

Service was fantastic, young girl who served us was very friendly and polite. Food was lovely and presented well. The decor was fab. Will definitely be coming back !

Food was delicious, chicken wings fabulous, steak soft. Only negative, no disabled access. The staff were brilliant helping my husband up & downstairs. Try their deal, well worth it.

It was great food and fantastic service. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely be coming back. The beef roast was so delicious

Not Great. Our waitress was very attentive but didn't know the menu. The £61 for two sharing Chateaubriand was tiny and barely fed one. The £40 lobster was also tiny. Most of the mains come without and sides and you need to order even chips to come with a steak.. Fortunately we had an offer and only paid half for the food and the Chef did send out an extra lobster. We were a family of 6, We ended up with 8 dinners just to eat normal portions. If we had paid full price it would have been over £350 for a very average family meal out.

Very clean and stylish venue, staff were very friendly and service was very good. Food was outstanding would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant 5*

We were celebrating my son in laws 40th birthday yesterday. Everything from the service to the fabulous food was second to none. A thoroughly great experience!

Food was OK not exceptional, we ordered 5 starters only recieved4 so one of our party had to wait, we had all finished by the time he got his , we had to ask for water for the table 3 times before it came. Don't think I would return
