Great home made food and service. I can highly recommend.

This was our first visit here. I was really surprised at how nice the Swan is. I couldn't fault anything, food, service, atmosphere or price. We will definitely be visiting here again

Visit was early on a Thursday evening, sat in the conservatory where plenty of space. Food arrived in timely fashion, main meals homemade, tasty, good quantity. Table service good. Will be booking again.

Nice food, freshly prepared, reasonable price, very good friendly service. We also liked the alfresco dining on the roofed patio.

Great social distancing, food was lovely. I would highly recommended coming again once the pandemic is over.

Disappointing this time-below usual standards. We were given the worst table in the pub for 4 people-small round table with 4 high chairs-we had an OAP with us and table was next to the door in and out to the garden! When I asked for a different table- for obvious reasons-it was made obvious they did not want to do it and begrudgingly just swapped 1 of the high chairs for another high chair with arms!!! There was no social distancing among the obvious regulars and not all were eating substantial meals - only drinking. There was clear mixing of households on the same tables and on tables near eachother in the conservatory and back room. We were not told of any ‘time limit’ on our table yet they came to tell us they needed the table while we were finishing our drinks! After an £80+ bill in relatively unsafe environment - they were welcome to it. Very disappointing and somewhat unsafe visit on this occasion. I know everyone is pressurised under these regulations but that does not mean standards and hospitality should drop. Being a key worker at a hospital-working throughout the pandemic-my standards have never dropped-so I expect the same from other service providers.

Lovely Sunday Lunch visit was seated in the conservatory which was very nice it felt very Christmassy with a lovely real tree & decorations, will be returning!

First time visiting the Swan. The service was excellent then came the food. Very tasty and very decent portions. The food was piping hot and cooked to perfection. Beautiful setting, very clean and friendly staff with excellent knowledge of the food. We shall be going to the Swan again. Please keep doing what you do best.

The staff were excellent and there were no problems with distancing. The food was very good particularly the Bread and Butter pudding. Well done to everybody
