Good service, staff polite and efficient. Lovely food and a variety of cocktails. Nice relaxing decor and a good atmosphere. I would recommend this venue.

Cosy restaurant. Good menu. Very welcoming and attentive staff who were always there and happy to help. Big dishes for tapas size, a good thing if you want to share

Great food in a lovely setting and great service as well. Last but not least the prices was also very good. Will definitely be going back sometime. The paella was to die for.

Great place, Great food. Table booked for 6 oclock and was told on booking that we could have the table for 2 hours. Just didn't like to be constantly reminded that we only had the table untill 8 oclock.

Fantastic food and cocktails. All staff friendly and served with a happy smile. Take of two is a treat atmosphere for a fun yet sophiscated catch up with friends. Downstairs great for boogie and cocktails. Upstairs great for chit chat good food, company and a tipple!

We enjoyed the night, however, I did tell them the night was booked to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. This was not even mentioned at any point in the night! Other places I’ve been to have at least acknowledged it in some way when a special occasion has been mentioned. Quite disappointing really. Also, the steaks were over cooked and my partners sirloin steak was not a great cut of meat. Had £5 knocked off the bill for this. Wouldn’t rush back.

Nice food but very slow service for drinks and food. We arrived late for our reservation and the table still was not ready for us upon arrival. But once the food arrived it was lovely.

Food was lovely as always although the service was extremely slow it took 4 hours from start to finish and only managed to order two drinks in that time we was constantly trying to get the waitresses attention with no luck, just seemed understaffed in a busy restaurant

a friend and i dined here. we chose food from the tapas menu. it arrived quickly. it was well presented and all hot. service was good. we will definitely be going again.

I wouldn't really class it as a "Tapas" more of a guess at how a Spaniard might cook it, and a bad guess at that. So overall a very long wait to receive tiny portions, the smallest mussels you will ever see, overcooked paella rice with additional broken shell included, an overcooked omelette with some sliced mushroom on top, gristle in the chorizo, patatas bravas made from new potatoes cut in half and then served with chorizo and chopped tomatoes! All in all an inept attempt at tapas and make matters worse we were never, at any point asked how the meal was (I guess they already knew) and then they tried to overcharge us at the end. Do yourselves a favour and find somewhere else to eat. We certainly won't be returning!

After asking for table numbers to be increased I was told we would have to attend at an earlier time and would only be able to keep the table for two hours which I said was fine. We arrived promptly as agreed and were shown to our table and orders taken. We then waited for a little over an hour for the food to arrive. Six people from the party of nine declined sweets as our two hours were almost over and felt pressured to leave, the waitress was a little off hand and uninterested. Food was ok but nothing special.

The food was bland and we were Over charged for tapas. 10 items = 2 x 5 not 2 x 6 but apparently it's the same price???

Lovely food as usual, was very busy due to being a bank holiday but food was prompt and still of the same great quality. Only reason I didn’t give a 6 was we requested a booth seat on our reservation and didn’t get one ☹️

The restaurant was very clean view from the window table was good, staff were courteous and helpful, didn’t make you feel rushed. The meal and wine were great hardly any leftover , would recommend it for a meal

Really nice and clean. Easy to book and reserve. Staff very friendly and polite. Would book again. Food was pleasant to eat would recommend the duck in sherry sauce.

Fab food, great service. Tapas good value for money. Had a table in the window overlooking the beach with a lovely view. Would recommend a visit and the tapas offer.

Table wasnt ready on time and still had to leave 2 hours from the original time (not the time we were seated) so had a rushed experience. Food lovely though.

Excellent service, food is delicious and well-priced. My only minor issue was that two tapas dishes were missed (belly pork & ribs), that happened to be my partners’. So he had to wait for them to be cooked and when they arrived we’d almost finished eating. This also happened on our last visit aswell with a Brie dish. It hasn’t put us off and we will be returning!

This has been my second visit to Tale of Two and I really like the place. The food is lovely, and the service they provide is very efficient. Friendly staff and great atmosphere makes this place one of my 'go to's'

Great food & service but the restaurant was very cold. We was told the heating was on but the radiators were cold. It’s not very enjoyable eating a meal when you are cold. Shame as otherwise it would have been a lovely evening. Didn’t hang around for another drink or desert as I needed to get out of there to go to a warmer place.
