Brought friend along. Decent portion size great fish & chips, lamb shank was meltingly tender, falling off the bone also with lovely gravy, grilled chicken was simple but cooked perfectly. Great meal!

A great little pub and really nice food, good value. Dog friendly and the staff were nice too. Lovely thatched roof and outside seating. Would go again

Homely atmosphere, warm welcoming staff. Went for rump & chips and fish & chips, both excellent. Sauces were great too. Lots of choice in real ale. Definitely will visit again!

Went there yesterday for Sunday lunch with family and we all enjoyed our meal. Everyone is really friendly and as I have found out in the past nothing is too much trouble for them to help you should you have any problems with certain foods. I certainly will carry on taking my visitors down there in the future.

Had a great time, chatting with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough to keep us happy. The food was lovely home cooked Christmas fayre. Very filling great sized portion. Yummy!

Very good Sunday carvery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Friend wanted vegetarian meal had a nut roast with vegetarian gravy and could held her self to as much vegetables as she wanted

Wonderful service Been here several times and can honestly say never had anything but first class food and service. Dog friendly and great outside area if it is nice weather.
