Having just moved to the are this was a recommendation from Facebook. The food was good although my rack of lamb came far too pink, in fact blue. It was returned twice until cooked - medium pink. Would be better to ask the customer how they would like their lamb cooked. Otherwise a very enjoyable first visit to The Thatched Tavern.

Lovely atmosphere on a busy Friday evening. Both bar and restaurant were full. Slightly longer wait for each course than we would have liked - seated 7:30, dessrt served around 10pm - but excellent food quality and staff. Guitarist hit just the right note too!

Lovely place and great atmosphere. Good food, had the vegan Sunday roast which could have been a little tastier but my friends roast lamb was delicious.

The food and staff were excellent we arrived early before the kitchen opened for dinner but wasn’t a problem. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Food was excellent on a par with any top restaurant in London ! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. It was a little loud as it was a Friday and very busy due to valentine's day but that didn't detract from the evening at all. The staff were very attentive and cheerful and really made an effort to make our evening as lovely as possible. After our meal we transitioned to the pub area for a couple of excellent pints before we went home. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Great periodic restaurant with real fires. There was a good choice on the menu. The duck scotch eggs were really good, as was the slow cooked lamb. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Came for Sunday roast with friends. Loved the lamb, it was perfectly cooked and fell off the bone. Save room for dessert! The sticky toffee pudding is amazing.

The typical English pub with optional dining areas both inside and out with modern updated facilities. It offers excellent value, delicious and imaginative menus as well as the yummy burgers in the true cozy pub atmosphere. Highly recommended!
