Absolutely love this place, food is amazing, also great value, plus everyone is so welcoming, can't really fault it, if you've not tried it yet, you're missing out!

A very good restaurant with pleasant happy staff. The food is good - properly cooked - with a good balance of taste and texture. Price is higher than some but easily justified by the quality.

nice 3 course sunday lunch, great service, we have eaten here several times and the wasn't quite as good as it usually is, maybe an off day.

We went on a Friday evening to listen to some live music and we weren't dissapointed .Excellent meal, great friendly attentive service,well worth a visit.good choice of different dishes from the menu.

A lovely little pub with great food. The staff are friendly and really attentive. Only criticisms I would have is it's a little chilly when you first sit down, and the lights could be dimmed slightly as it is a little bright, but these are small issues and I would still highly recommend!

The food was amazing and the service from the staff was outstanding, I would not hesitate in returning to the Vane Arms. The Menu has a lot to offer, really nice choices.

The food was outstanding. We ordered from the 'set menu' and it was really good value for money. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I've had. It only loses 1 star due to it costing more money to have 4 glasses of wine, than ordering a bottle and we weren't informed of this until we got the bill. However, we will definitely go back as the food was so good.

second time we have eaten here for sunday lunch. both times we have had lovely food and service...prices reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks.

Great service from start to finish with a superb menu and reasonably priced menu and wine list, also the added extra of live entertainment on the Friday we went.

Staff all really friendly and the food is always lovely! I went there yesterday with my mum who hasn't dined there before, and she was very impressed.

Excellent food and service. It was quiet when we arrived at 12pm but became a little crowded before we left as our table was near to the bar where people were standing having a drink. However this didn't stop us enjoying the meal.

They claimed they didn't receive my request for a high chair when it was included in the special instructions. Fairly unapologetic as well when unavailable

Their were 4 people not one of us were happy with the food no spoon for starter cold food no sugar offered for coffee. We would not recommend this resteraunt to any one and we eat out very regular. Very disappointed .

Great food, staff very attentive, booked online which made things easier, food quality good in relation to the price, real fires which were always burning made it cosy

The food and service was great, I had the seabass which was perfectly cooked, the decor is very informal but don't expect just pub food, it is restaurant quality.

The atmosphere and ambience was relaxing. Recommend the Bavette and the Cheese & Leek Souffle. We will certainly be returning. One of our favorite restaurants

What a lovely, comfortable setting, large tables and loads of space, great service and absolutely gorgeous food plus good choice of drinks, will definitely return.

Arrived on time and met with a friendly greeting ordered drinks and showed to our table straight away.we ordered starters and mains which all arrived looking and tasting really nice,the waiters were really good asking if everything was ok and asking if we needed anymore drinks.a very enjoyable evening and will be visiting again.

We had a lovely meal and great atmosphere, cosy and warm with real fire, dogs welcome in bar area and food was delicious, also service was excellent, so good we'v booked Sunday lunch again, would recommend the Vane Arms

Excellent meal, very well cooked and presented., the service was good and attentive, good wine menu. Pub is clean and fresh, nice big tables to sit at.

Lovely food. Lovely service. Went to celebrate husband's birthday. We've been before and will certainly go again. Only negative comment would be that the mackerel starter wasn't big enough!

Lovely setting and beautifully decorated but it lacked any atamosphere. The food was restaurant or gastro pub prices but really not great, my bubble and squeak was just incredibly salty mash potato. Very disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, great menu and excellent customer service. As well as the main menu there's a great specials board. We always thoroughly enjoy visiting the Vane Arms.
