A little more finess and smaller portions would be good. Staff friendly. Not as busy as we expected for a Saturday but a pleasant evening. The chocolates were excellent.

Brilliant! Great service and amazing food! The staff were friendly and jovial and each member of our party enjoyed their meals. The meals were plentiful and we each member of our party had to leave some at the end! Definitely worth the low cost!

The service was good and we booked at short notice. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, apart from Michael Jackson music on endless loop. Tbh we were disappointed with the food. There were 5 of us all having a different dish and 4 of the 5 were too sweet and tasted of coconut. I've never before had coconut tarting tikka masala.

Lovely food and waiters. Calming atmosphere. However, only 2 highchairs in the restaurant meaning my very wriggly 1 year old was sat on my lap the majority of the time!

the food very disappointing for the price the portions were small and food was dry and burnt after sending it back once the replacement was just as bad nothing was done by management to compensate us at the end of meal very disappointing

The Food is really really nice, We had chicken pakora starters and the tandori mixed grill for mains with a peshwari naan, the restaurant looks great and the staff are friendly.

Food fantastic - my meal came 10 minutes later than everyone elses, and as they waited for mine - there's went cold. They were really busy.

The food is always good at The Viceroy. The restaurant is really lovely to be in too. I find the staff to be a little unfriendly but the service itself is quick and professional.

The waiter who greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, we thought good start, however the waiter who actually served was as different as chalk to cheese, a smile never crossed his face all the time he was serving us, he was polite granted but on giving him a fair tip, still no smile. The food was ok, nothing special but the rice had a lot of turmeric in it, not pleasent.We will NOT be returning.

Really lovely atmosphere, tables are nicely placed so not too close together. Waiters are friendly & helpful & the food was excellent. Would definately recommend.

The Food is sooo nice, there is a good choice on the menu, we had meat samosa and chicken pakora for starters, then a tandori mixed grill, It was really tasty and the staff were really friendly.

The Service let the night down. No organisation. Had to wait along time for drinks and food. The poppadums were stale but when the food eventually came it was very nice. I would say, if you want to visit The Vice Roy, go early doors.

Went with family of 8 adults. Fantastic service throughout and a fantastic meal. There is a good choice on the menu. The mixed starter is fab!

The staff were lovely, food really great, atmosphere very relaxing and good prices. We had Set meal for two - bottle of Red Wine, and two Bailey's £47.00 although we couldn't finish the meal we had the option to take it home, which we think is great.

Excellent food and service. A nice range of dishes with some interesting Ines I hadn't tried before. Will definitely return. I had the lamb curry with figs and it was lovely.

The service was prompt and the meal very good. We had the set meal for two which came with poppadums and relish tray, three curry choices and rice and naam bread. The restaurant is well decorated and we were treated to linen table cloths and napkins. All in All an enjoyable experience and would recommend.

Excellent food very pleasant and helpful staff as well as very nice surroundings. The car park is a little tricky in busy periods but you can park up the road as an alternative.

VERY PLEASANT NICELY DECORATED RESTAURANT. LOVELY MEAL FOR THE PRICE. THE WAITER'S WERE VERY ATTENTIVE AND WE WERE NOT RUSHED TO VACATE THE TABLE AT THE END OF OUR MEAL. OUR FRIENDS WITH US FOR THIS MEAL HAD BEEN TO THIS RESTAURANT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND HAD ALWAYS HAD A GOOD MEAL.I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO ENJOYS A GOOD INDIAN MEAL. DON'T ORDER TOO MUCH AS A STARTER AND MAIN COURSE ARE SUFFICIENT.

Lovely food and the restaurant looked clean and tidy. Toilets ok. Some staff more attentive than others. We would go again. Would recommend to others.
