The Vineyard Bar and Kitchen is an excellent addition to the Wirral’s dining scene, owing to a menu that’s packed with homemade British pub classics. As such, you can expect everything from lasagna and liver and onions to scampi or a creamy chicken tikka on offer. Throw in a well-stocked bar, a warm welcome and more live sport than you shake a stick at and it’s clear why The Vineyard Bar and Kitchen is so popular. On Upton Road in Moreton, this a simple space but one that will warm you heart so it’s best to reserve a table in advance.
There’s so much to love about The Vineyard Bar and Kitchen and we’re pretty certain locals from the Wirral will tell you the same. They’re quite fond of this place, which is no surprise given the menu on offer. Just about any British pub classic you can think of you’ll likely find here, from starters right through to desserts and meals for the little ones. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that it’s one of the best restaurants in Moreton for this kind of comfort food – with a dining space that is simple yet stylish on Upton Road and plenty of TVs to catch the sport.
Kick things off with breaded garlic mushrooms or a plate of lavishly-topped nachos with the option of BBQ pulled pork. If there’s a group of you, however, the Ultimate Sharer plate is worth a pop and offers a little bit of everything. After that, well, take your pick from dishes such as a jumbo fish finger sandwich, cottage pie, chilli con carne or a glorious British steak and Doom Bar ale pie among much else. Round things off with a sticky toffee pudding and that’s the job done. If you’re on the Wirral or in Moreton, The Vineyard Bar and Kitchen is essential pub dining that’s cheap, cheerful and thoroughly enjoyable.
There was amazing music, all the staff were friendly, the food was lovely and there was a large variety to drink, all reasonably priced. Overall great place🎉
Nice homely feel and good service ,reasonably priced good atmosphere and Good selection of sports to watch Food similar to home cooking Good for families
The food was good and well presented although the overall feeiing was more of a cafe for a quick meal during the day rather than a place to stay and enjoy a meal in the evening
Food was lovely, staff very friendly, they didn't bring out one of our party's meal the same time as everyone else's and then they didn't have what they had asked for so she changed her choice, they gave her her meal for free for the inconvenience,
Food was ok nothing special upper market microwave curry. Very thin tasteless custard watery. Ordered cappuccino coffee got filter coffee. Music very loud couple speak across the table. Dishes left on table after meal for a while. Seemed to be a bit disorganised behind bar.
Very cold. young girl had a puppy which was being placed on the bar and on some of the tables. Staff were friendly but some of the customers were not the type of people you wish to be sitting with whilst you eat
Food is pretty good. Drinks reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere. Pub type atmosphere. Ideal for a lunch time or casual evening meal but not for a special occasion
Slow bringing the meals out to the table it was a Tuesday night so there was only a few people in the place won't be returning at any time
Not welcomed when we arrived... No contact from staff.. Food choice not selective. Not happy at all ended up leaving after 15mins as no one acknowledged us at all....
Although open were not serving meals and knew nothing about us coming today. Went to another local pub/restaurant. Why did your company accept reservations?? Very disappointing
