A really lovely evening with great food and friendly & helpful staff.

Good atmosphere, food was great with a good drinks selection. Prices have increased but I guess that is commonplace everywhere. Overall very impressed!

It's a nice pub with lovely views out at the back and, in the warmer weather, it would be wonderful to be able to sit out there and admire the view.

Overall service were good, however we ordered 'Sharing Platters' as starters but when we queried why they hadn't arrived we were told they were being held until all the mains were ready which made for a rather chaotic meal. Otherwise service was attentive and food quality good and well-presented.

Roast beef was cooked beautifully. Pub not too crowded. Pudding was a generous portion. Priced ok. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Music rather load in dining room and the room was chilly. Food and service great.

Staff was very friendly and the starters have been delicious. However our mains came out cold. After complaining we got new mains and they were hot. Taste wise it was unfortunately very, very disappointing.

Food and service good, not keen with sitting in a draughty conservatory

Several of our favourite dishes were no longer on the menu and background music was too loud, probably because we were under a speaker.

The gammon served to two of my party was horrendous. It was very fatty and the meat was very soft unlike any other piece of gammon I have had. Half of it was inedible. The steak my husband had was not the size ordered but very overpriced and fatty. The fish my son ate was very greasy and left him with sickness and stomach ache a few hours later. There were lots of chips perhaps to compensate for the lack of meat! The children’s meals were lovely and we wish we had have ordered more for the adults.
