The World's End Market

this looks like a pub but it isnt. What it is is a well run restaurant with reasonable prices and great, interesting freshh food like market fresh fish specials and spanish ox steaks/ tongue/ carpaccio etc. well worth the trip.

Overall the service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going back very soon. Perfect evening!

Service was good and food tasty but it is quite expensive and the menu is a bit more limited than I was expecting.

We had a problem with our order and instead of being accommodating, they were incredibly rude and told us we just don’t know how to cut our steak! Then they tried to charge us for the rotten piece of steak that we sent back. When we questioned it, the manager started cursing at us. Worst experience - definitely not going back. Shame on the manager!

The food was just excellent! I would say that was the best in london! The interior in the restaurant is perfect and i was feeling so comfortable during i was eating . The staff was very freindly

Food was very tasty. I had the burger it was rich tasting and delicious with a soft bun and oozing with smoky cheese. Nice decor and atmosphere that accurately created a 1930s distillery vibe. Large range of wines with varying prices.

Beautiful restaurant...good food...lovely service! We are visiting London from the U.S. and really enjoyed this little gem in Chelsea! The sea bass, the salmon, and the tomato/burrata salad were a hit at our table...

We both liked the warm ambience and Lauren's excellent attentive service. I enjoyed my food - oysters appetiser, octopus starter, perfectly cooked whole gilted bream - although octopus portion was a rather tiny tapas-size. My friend was a bit disappointed with his bland ox tongue starter and his ox solimolle (?) was overdone for which the chef apologised but offered no recompense by way of any discount or free dessert/coffee.

We had originally booked for 6 but later changed to 9 persons. One of our group was delayed but we were not pressurised at all. Food as always excellent as were the staff. Thanks

My husband and I had a very nice dinner at The World's End Market. I enjoyed my ribeye steak and truffle mashed potatoes (although I love truffle so would have preferred a little more truffle flavour). The service was fantastic, and the wine list was great. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area---also check out The Bletchley bar they have downstairs!

Fillet steak was divine! Service excellent, lovely ambience. Loved the Paddington Bear company in the facilities, a great place to eat before visiting the Bletchley.

Always such a great food and a nice atmosphere! All the dishes are fresh and full of favours! We have dinners at this place at least once a month.

Stopped here for a late lunch, there were 5 of us, it was not our initial choice, but we were pleasantly surprised. Orders taken, great, food arrived, 3/5 perfect, however veggies were missed off the order for the other 2, after waiting a while (meat getting cold) we asked again, and it appeared they had missed the veggies off the order. Quick rush around from the waiter with our meat kept warm under a light and we had the veggies. So we assumed we would get a refund, but the waiter/waitress excelled themselves. 1st - a lovely sharing dessert platter arrived, which was delicious 2nd - 5 brandy Alexanders which were lovely The place wasn't that busy, so although we had to wait for the veggies, the apology and the extras more than made up for the mistake. Thank you ....

this was not my first time there. Nice food, great staff and a fun atmosphere. Would recommend the steak and will def be coming back again.

We had the most wonderful evening. Superb location - stylish interior. Epic food and prefect service. The basque aged steak is sublime. Don’t delay go now.

Brilliant place. Restaurant on the ground floor followed by a secret experience in the basement and back to the top floor for drinks in the bar! Will definitely be going again :)

This is one of best restaurant I have been to in ages. The atmosphere was great and the staffs were really friendly. On arrival, the staffs were very welcoming as they acknowledged us with greetings. Once seated, it didn't take long for the waiter to attend to us. We were told the missing dishes and soup of the day. Every question we had about the menu, the waiter took their time to explain. The meal I had which was the seabass and sweet potato tasted really nice. During our meal, the waiter came often to check on us and also topped up our drink. When leaving, we were offered a friendly farewell. I would definitely be coming back here.

Nice atmosphere, nice and friendly staff. Everything came quite fast, appearance and taste of the dishes was excellent. We are looking forward to the new menue cards, because currently very small to read and probably we missed some specialties of the house. We had nice oysters, carpaccios and steaks.

Amazing lunch - food was excellent. The goat's cheese starter I had was so good, I could have eaten it twice. The Burger was one of the best I have tasted too. My friend had the steak tartare and the lamb chops which he also described as delicious. Service was discreet and the Malbec - well, what can I say - just have some! Definitely want to come back.

Good service. Beautifully decorated restaurant. The Spanish meat was underwhelming and pricey. Not sure I would go back there again for the meat but for the service I would.

The food and service were excellent especially the seared octopus starter. Have passed this venue many times without going in, now we will definitely return, maybe buey (ox) next time.

Very good service and outstanding food quality with excellent meat. The octopus starter tastes amazing, very well cooked. Good also the croquettes, excellent paring with the beetroot and grapefruit salad. The house beer is a good pilsner, suggest to try also the pale ale

Excellent steak and service. Ideal for a special occasion. Would recommend the premium ox which is a real head turner when brought to the table and taste does not disappoint.

Nice vibe, pleasant servers and great starters (oysters, burratta, goats cheese w/beetroot plus ginger pumpkin soup). Our server completely changed between appetizers and mains w/o explanation. 2/4 of the mains were great (ribeye, lamb chops. 2/4 were average (chicken breast and salmon)

The Staff were lovely, the food was rather outstanding, and the place was jumping. Great for two people or a table of six. A brilliant night out.

Food nice but not good value for money. Poor vegetarian options. Restaurant roasting hot - no air conditioning so very unpleasant. Ice cream for dessert was horrible - icy and tasted weird - probably defrosted and refrozen.

It wasn't busy, there where three other tables. We where waiting for our friend who was 20 min late. We had to say this about 4 times as the waitress kept asking to take our order. The waitress was rude, she looked and acted so unhappy to be working. We ordered bread to have while we where waiting for our friend, two roles appeared. They where so solid that you couldn't even cut them with a knife. We said that the roles where stale, the waitress just took them away. No apology, then to make it worse we where charged for them, having to ask for them to be removed from the bill. The stake was okay, my salad didn't have any dressing on, I didn't realise it was meant to have dressing until I saw my friends when I had nearly finished. The chips with Parmesan and truffle where really good. All in all very expensive for a disappointing meal.

Great food, amazing service and the atmosphere is perfect for a catch up with friends. Highly recommend. It's great to find a gem like this in the heart of Chelsea

The service was good, however I booked breakfast indicating I'd be using my tastecard. I was told when I arrived I wouldn't be able to use it. This is serious because: - no where on the website is said they don't accept it for breakfasts - I selected that place because of the tastecard, when I could have selected a way more convenient area for me

The World's End Market sells itself on having the 'best meat in the world' but our fillet steaks (cooked rare as recommended), whilst tender, lacked flavour, with one being served cold, the other warm - both sat lonely on their otherwise empty plates. Truffle & Parmesan fries were tasty but at £3.90 you'd expect them to be sharing size. I barely got a taste of the spinach and garlic as the quantity would have fit on one spoon had they not spread it across a large plate in close to single leaf depth. We wouldn't normally order fillet steaks but the smallest Chuleta De Buey was 1.5kg, which comes out at about £225 with only two people ordering steak, which was a bit steep given this was a last minute/pre-event dinner. The lemon sole was beautifully cooked and starters were well received (although grilled scallops were lacklustre and also barely warm and asparagus was overcooked). The charred octopus was by far the winning dish. Service was indifferent with staff bristling when requests were made. Obviously we weren't their target audience (the loud/thumping music through the restaurant later in the evening made that clear), but still I was expecting more (both food and service-wise), especially given there were only a couple of other tables dining.
