We were offered a table in the back corner, however as a table was free by the window we opted for that. Some of the staff are friendly, however this is let down by a couple of miserable waiters. The food was lovely and that's why we go back. The restaurant looks tired and could do with a makeover. The toilets require improvement.

Two of the chosen main meals came plated up. The lamb chops starter didn't resemble chops. The quail starter was a struggle to find any meat. The rice resembled a school lunch - shaped like a scoop of mashed potato! The restaurant was far too hot, as the ceiling fans were inadequate. Not sure if no air con at all or if broken down? The whole experience felt rushed. We were late to be shown to our table, even though it was set and ready when we arrived 10 minutes early. We wont hurry back, but if we were to go back, we would avoid the weekend full restaurant because of the room temperature. All three of us gave an overall 4 out of 10.

Delicious food as always. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. There were 14 of us and service was great.

Disappointed as curry whilst spicy was cold and nan bread was too doughy Lamb was fatty and male toilets not good

Food taste was average. Lacking value not because of taste but for amount. My 11£ meal had 6 little pieces of chicken breast with sauce.

Food excellent. Rushed popadoms not finished before mains arrived. Table so small that popadoms and chutneys etc removed. Presented with bill while still drinking. They did have people waiting but only 1 hour for table is not enough. Would recommend you book if going after 7.30

Didn't much like the atmosphere, or the decors. The food is over priced, and nearly everything contained milk or meat, which is contrary to traditional Indian food.

Very welcoming as we arrived,took our coats and hung them up, then the service was pretty quick as the poppadoms arrived while I was deciding which wine to order. The food tasted really good. The only slip up was we asked for tap water about four times. Overall very happy.

Wonderful food is guaranteed in this friendly and welcoming restaurant. We have been many times for pre theatre meals or for a lovely evening and we have always enjoyed it. We like the Shakespeare pictures too! Thoroughly recommended

Had a fantastic pathia , pilau and peshwari naan here ...the best I've ever had ! Staff were great too ...friendly and attentive..could not have expected more...
