Great food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we will return.

From the moment we walked in it was one big rush, the food was not enjoyable at all, I would recommend not eating there at all.

Very welcoming as we arrived,took our coats and hung them up, then the service was pretty quick as the poppadoms arrived while I was deciding which wine to order. The food tasted really good. The only slip up was we asked for tap water about four times. Overall very happy.

Wonderful food is guaranteed in this friendly and welcoming restaurant. We have been many times for pre theatre meals or for a lovely evening and we have always enjoyed it. We like the Shakespeare pictures too! Thoroughly recommended

Lovely restaurant, the staff were very attentive and the food was amazing. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant and we would definitely visit again.

Had a fantastic pathia , pilau and peshwari naan here ...the best I've ever had ! Staff were great too ...friendly and attentive..could not have expected more...

Booked for 5.30. Restaurant wasn’t open at 5.25. Lights off, no one in. Car pulled up just in time and the staff got out of a car and opened up. Not the welcoming experience we had hoped for. Opted to eat elsewhere.

Very friendly, eager to help with menu choices, quick service, lovely tasty meals and accompaniments, all served hot, generous portions and reasonably priced. Small family special occasion was a great success.

Poor service and basic food. Also and not the restaurant fault but a noisy table of 14 taking over the restaurant had and impact on our night.

Good service, fast and friendly. Food was ok, flavour was good but meat a little dry. Nice to see the curry’s come with rice instead of having to buy separately. Reasonably priced.

Great food and great service! What more do you need from a restaurant. Open late. So works well if you've been to the theatre, and it's just around the corner.

The best indian restaurant I've eaten in for food quality and service. Fantastic location, close to the town and RSC its perfect. Would highly recommend.

Food excellent. The place was a little cramped, but testimony to the quality of the food and the fact we visited during the Stratford River Festival. The toilets could be improved.

We had another lovely meal at Thespians and the service was great as always. A warm welcome, nice wine and a good curry, can't ask for more than that.

A very enjoyable meal; especially the creamy flavour of the salted lassi drink. The only exception was that the last 1 cm of the lassi was not drinkable, cos the salt had not all been dissolved into the liquid. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant restaurant.

Wonderful and tasty food and a nice atmosphere, the staff were also very helpful and polite. Only criticism would be that we felt a little rushed.

We had a lovely meal at thespians we were recommended this restaurant to eat. The food was tasty and hot however I had emailed the establishment before hand to make them aware this was for my husbands birthday I couldn’t bring a cake due to the fact we were there on a family trip. It was quite disappointing as there were other eateries around we could have chosen from that would have perhaps gone that little extra. It also felt like we where in a game of Pac-Man with the waiters walking round tables a little of putting whilst eating.

Lovely food. Been there before so had to come back. More interesting than your average restaurant! Ideal combination with Shakespeare at the RSC. Especially liked the Kashmir pilau rice.

Excellent food best pathia I have tasted. Naan was nice and fluffy and staff friendly and welcoming. Will definitely book again as it was much better than expected

It was a lovely meal and the usual great, friendly service. Thespians is always one of our favourite places to eat in Stratford-upon-Avon. We will be back there again soon.

Service was very good, food quality was also very good. It was a shame that the chicken tikka masalla, the chicken chilli masalla, and naan were very, very sweet.

Traditional style Indian restaurant in an olde worlde building. Booked a 6pm table easily on line, good service though not terribly busy at 6pm. I had Chicken Naga and it was one of the best i have ever tasted, everything - naan, vegetable rice, Sag Aloo, Poppadoms for me was excellent, DH had a Lamb dish which he says was nice though nothing special. Would recommend.

Food was ok. Restaurant was rather dirty and could do with a good clean tbh, especially the gents toilet. Would try another Indian restaurant if in Stratford upon Avon again.
