Tomahawk Steakhouse - Husthwaite

We had a really nice time at the Tomahawk in Husthwaite. It’s a nice venue, with lovely staff, and good food.

The food was amazing, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the servers were very friendly! I would and have recommended this place

The food was fantastic the restaurant was lovely it was just the service was so poor and it wasn’t due to them being exceptionally busy either. We waited at least 25 mins for our main course plates to be cleared and we asked for another bottle of water and after 20mins had to ask another member of staff for as we hadn’t received it. Then we had to ask for our desert order to be taken as again we were left and forgotten about and when the deserts eventually came 2 were in correct even though when the waitress ordered them she re read the order out and it was correct. Then the bill was incorrect when that came. It’s was Such a shame as it was for a friends birthday. There didn’t appear to be a main front of house person or manager working they were all young girls who just did not seem very switched on and at the time of leaving we had been there for hours and some of the girls had a long travel home it was late so we just left without saying anything as there wasn’t anyone to speak to.

We went for the first time (newly married and birthday treat) and I will say it was just beautiful. The food was fantastic, the wine was great and the service was brilliant! We will be going back!

Half an hour to take a food order, another half an hour for the starter to arrive. We came out smelling of fried food must be an extraction issue in the kitchen.

Food was great, came out in good time. Kids portion size almost as big as adults on the lunchtime menu.

Really enjoyed our food and evening. Staff very friendly & helpful, especially as one of our party had special dietary requirements - nothing too much trouble. Would return to restaurant.

Again our experience was absolutely fantastic, service was excellent, Staff could not do enough for every one , we had the Tomahawk steak and Lobster it was delicious, we had a spacious room with en-suite can not fault this place at all

It truly lived up to its name. The food was superb, the environment was a pleasure to be in and the staff very attentive...especially the guy that welcomed us, he was fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant, will be coming back again with the rest of my family. The man behind the bar was truly brilliant at his job!

Food was absolutely beautiful and the service was top notch!

It was very warm, but it was a very warm evening. My satay starter was very small. The sweet potatoes had honey on them and were too sweet. Staff very friendly and helpful. The lighting lighting was a bit bright. We did have a lovely evening, these comments are meant to be helpful.

Amazing meal & overnight stay. Staff, especially the manager, were very pleasant & attentive. Wagyu steaks were cooked to perfection & excellent choice of sides & sauces. Finished off meal nicely with a Tomahawk chocolate bomb & an after dinner cocktail. Will visit again!

The restaurant was busy and vibrant. Food was tasty and good value but we waited nearly an hour between our starter and main course. Staff were courteous and friendly but did not apologise for the slow service. I did not notice until I got home that I had been charged for a starter which I had not received.

The food tastes great and the staff are really polite and friendly, the only problem seems to be the speed at which the food reaches you. We were waiting a long time between courses and the food had definitely been waiting under the hot plate for a while before it came out. Would definitely go again though.

Amazing Anniversary meal! Staff made us both feel so great! Best steak by far and gorgeous dessert! We have also stayed for the night, the room was very clean, lovely and no noise at all! Brilliant midweek celebrations! 💕🍾
